in am2, higher htt link gives slightly better performance in spi as pointed out by bro dblooi b4, not sure for agena & deneb. nb freq oc seems to be more useful to boost performance for d latters. smile.gif

Now stable in 258MHz Bus Speed & 2322MHz NB Freq @ 3.6GHz

My crappy MB tired any setting cant push up over 3.6GHz stable blend test in PRIME95 test, even PII 940 increase to 1.5VID @ 3.7GHz still unstable cry.gif and in 1.5VID is VERY HOT AND UNSTABLE vmad.gif

but now I use this setting performance and stable better than setting before blush.gif

u need to raise nb vid or so called cpu-nb vid in bios (if happened ya bios have).
for nb freq u can use BAR Edit to adjust d multiplier.
blend test is alot tougher to pass... luv it if u pass & hate it if u always failed...
*
My MB only have NB VID setting, but only can reach +0.1V mad.gif

So I increase +0.1 NB VID but still unstable in 2700MHz HT Link @ Prime95 blend test cry.gif

How to use BAR Edit to adjust NB freq? hmm.gif

i say if u really have enuf $$, go for a better spec u can,
mean i vote for 750W and ASUS

for the ram, normally a good chip 800 can do better in OC while 1066 will not so OC able,
but thn the total speed thy can hit is almost the same, so depend how u want ply it..

if u want ply with a super high HTT oc, i would like to vote for 800, else 1066 oso ok.. smile.gif

that is my opinion.. biggrin.gif

@idragon
yup, 940BE vy sensitive to temp, if u cnt keep the good temp for it i tough to get stable at higher vCORE and the vice versa icon_rolleyes.gif
