Greetings to all the Wii player!
Wanted to get some advice on Nintendo Wii. Formerly I'm a PS supporter but when out of console game for long. Just recently I got attracted to Wii. After so many years not playing console game, its total blurry for me now. Wanted to you guys pro to help out.
What's the different between "Modified Version" and "Orginal Version"?
Wii have pretty rigid region lock, the Mod is used to bypass that.
As understand, after mod can play pirated games. But after mod can play original game too?
Yes. But some of the older mod-chip might have problems playing certain original games such as Smash Bro Brawl.
So it is advisable to install a mod-chip, and add a "switch" that allow it to be switch off when not needed.
How bout online? Wii have build in receiver, rite?
Yes.
Online features such as download games, chat, surf net, and etc... After mod can I still do that?
Yes. Remember to do a "Brazil Hack" to purchase Wii-points using Credit Cards. Brazil Hacks is simple, that means select "Brazil" as your host country in Wii settings.
Heard bout software update and also multiplayer online coming very soon.. so mod version can go for all these?
Not sure.
What's Mii?
Mii is a cute little replica of yourself in Wii. It is digital version of a "Barbie Doll" in Wii, just that it is more customizable.
Hope you guys pro could help bring me back to console world...
Also to add. Wii's original games are pretty affordable to purchase locally.Wanted to get some advice on Nintendo Wii. Formerly I'm a PS supporter but when out of console game for long.
