wat actualy tube wallpaper size ar? thinking to make tube wallpaper collection
*
Well the screen is 640 x 360 pixels, so I suppose that's the size. I normally use the 5800 inbuilt pic cropping sw to crop to wallpaper size, much easier.

Congrats on your purchase. Would've loved to get an iPhone too but price/feature considerations made me choose the 5800.

Do you mean nokia tube is the best phone for its price range? Have been using SE for 6 yrs, I scared i will not use to it when switch back to Nokia tongue.gif
*
I consider it best value in its price range but depends on what you want. It's not the best looking phone around, neither is it the most svelte but features/price wise it's a steal. I was using an SE too before that but I wanted the added functions of a GPS, Wi-fi etc. and found that most phones that have all that features costs around 2K++ which was beyond my budget, so only choice - 5800, got it in Jan before the launch and never regretted since even with all its faults. thumbup.gif

i have prob with garmin. it got jam and i cant press anything . help plz
*
Happened to me twice. No choice but power off the phone and restart. If cannot, remove battery, wait a while then restart. Were you running other programs when you launch Garmin? Garmin is very resource hungry (I found that out the hard way) and our Tube though good cannot cope with lots of open applications at one time.

I got question wanted to ask 624MHz Marvell PXA312 processor compare to ARM 11 369 MHz CPU ... Which processor is faster ?
*
Typically the higher rated clock speed (MHz) one is supposed to be faster but when talking about different chips, different hardware architecture and OS, it is difficult to compare them just based on the clock speed. You should try to discuss this in a technical hardware forum and not here, or just Google for more comparison info.

mine is diff everytime at the menu i freezes already. i cant even go to settings. btw there is buy and purchase, trail, and use a bluetooth gps. which to choose?

If you have not got the license for it then your option is Trial. I assume you have not installed the Virtual Key application yet? Go to the 1st page, there is a detailed guide on Garmin XT installation there. Cheers.

Hmmm strange, perhaps your installation got corrupted. Try uninstalling and reinstalling again. Where did you dl the Garmin XT software from? FYI you can download it directly from Garmin's website, that's what I did. The rest you know what to do i.e. install the base files etc., I assume. Sorry cannot be of much help.

Google maps require network connection as in internet. It's not like Garmin or Nokia Maps where you can download the maps and use the GPS to read from them.

Are you using Handy Shell? If you are, that may be the problem. I used to have the same issues with the alarm until I uninstall Handy Shell. Now no more issue thumbup.gif

Have anyone encounter on and off auto of the their tube and meanwhile i am in V11....maybe at least 6 - 7 times A DAY...
*
No. Is this a recent occurence? If yes, try to recall what applications you had installed since the problem surface and uninstall one by one to see if it solves the problem. Could be an application conflict. If that does not work, backup your stuff, do a hard reset and try again. If all else fails there is always NCC if you are an Ori owner.

anyone have any idea how much is the original nokia car charges for tube?
is car charger stable?
*
It sells for RM49. The car charger is a quick charger, meaning it charges your battery much faster than our standard home charger. What do you mean if the charger is stable?

means whether it will spike or sag n spoil the tube battery
*
I don't think so, although it is better not to plug in the phone/charger when starting the car, that would definitely cause a spike. Li-ion batteries are meant to be frequently charged and anyway I only use my charger occassionaly when I need to only or when I am running GPS. One thing though, the car charger does interfere with the headphone output. I use a normal 3.5mm to RCA connector to plug the Tube to my car audio system AUX input and when charging, there is "noise" affecting the sound output.

U using "Retractable Car Charger DC-9" right?
the RM49 u also refer to this?
*
Can't remember the model, just the normal car charger. I don't think it's the retractable one. That's more expensive.

i wanna ask u all, the nokia centre u all visit at berjaya plaza which floor? first or the other 1?
*
Both also can but the other one (14th fl??) feedback from others here is better in service. First floor one seems to be a little slack. Anyway, I went to first floor one last time to fix my earpiece, had to insist for them to do it same day, if not they tend to just standard say 2 days to fix.

Morning all

@kornelius yeah right now garmin not optimize for tube yet.. u can still use garmin mobile xt for tube but not all function can use.
*
It costs quite a bit. Garmin XT in it's current version sells for US$80 (RM288 @ 3.6). Comes on a memory card with maps. Have not seen a Malaysian version yet though. Agree that it's better to wait for the version that will support the s60v5 if you want to buy it.

My Garmin XT hang yesterday. Dunno what happened but I am suspecting the combination of MFM and MFM POI plus the need to recalculate the route when I took a different way then the recommended one, killed the Tube, not enough memory or processing power. Any opinions?

I wonder what the Nokia is doing.
They withdrew the v20 Firmware and the application for downloading is mainly for trial and need to pay for full activation..
*
What do you mean Trial? Firmware updates are free to purchasers of Nokia phones, I've never heard of Nokia requiring payment for firmware updates and also the need to pay for full activation. Where did you get this information from?
