First 3 visits to NCC :

Hi guys,
This is regarding my 4th visit to NCC.
I called Nokia Careline again, they put me through to a supervisor, who called the Nokia Center telling them I'm coming.. then at the Nokia Center (Amcorp Mall again because they give better service then the Sunway one), the manager attended me again and managed to fix the phone.. they said it was a problem with the sensor and some ribbon and they changed it all. It took about 2 hours to fix.
The manager also informed me v20 is officially out for Malaysia since a few days ago (since Monday I'm assuming, if it was a few day ago) and she proceeded to upgrade my phone to v20. I asked her whats the difference, she said the one before was meant for a different region.
Anyway, it looks exactly the same as the v20 that I had when it was first released in Malaysia few weeks ago before it was pulled out, I'll put the details here so that v20 users can compare and confirm its the same.
Version : v20.0.012
Version Date : 26-01-2009
Custom Version : 20.0.012.C02.01
Custom Version Date : 26-01-2009
Type : RM-356
Maybe this one preserves the language settings because there were reports before that after upgrading some users lost support for chinese language etc, right?
So looks like no more need to use Phoenix, Nemesis, JAF or any other 3rd party flasher. Wait for it to appear in NSU / FOTA or bring your phone to NCC and get it upgraded there if you cant wait! (dont forget to backup things first, even though it has User Data Preservation, somehow NCC wiped out my whole phone, lucky I got backups)
Cheers!
It's the same firmware version just as first release. http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=23755906
