liking the new garmin more than the old one, pure touchscreen support is just so nice
plus seems like it can easily disable or switch the internal GPS to BT GPS |

QUOTE(Da_Shiang @ Feb 28 2009, 02:53 PM) Damn it! Still stuck at 69% on the backup retry. i got that while i was trying to install quickoffice eventhough i've soft resetted when i got my phone, had to use backup file to load messages, settings and all backStuck at phone-model-specific backup... The others already backup. What wrong ah?? I wanted to do soft reset on my friend's 5800 because due to the expired certificates, he cant install garmin. really a pain |

QUOTE(WEE2000 @ Feb 28 2009, 04:00 PM) i got expired certificate wen installing 5.00.30 on 5800. i got it working on n95. even i changed the phones date/time, it will either tell me expired cert or cert not yet valid. do a soft reset *#7370#that should fix the problem, but make sure you backup your data |

QUOTE(alpha_company @ Feb 28 2009, 05:08 PM) u confirmed no need to kill tsrautostart.exe? and no more cardrunner? after setting it, tsrautostart.exe terminates itself after you exit or close garminwant to really make sure..cause the previous garmin really sux batt life..i removed that piece of C BTW, u're in SP? sg petani? it is still running while you're using garmin so if you're using handy taskman, make sure you don't kill garmin, otherwise it won't terminate the tsrautostart |

QUOTE(Eiraku @ Feb 28 2009, 05:34 PM) Which translates to: USING GXT is still a batt life killer (although it couldn't hold a candle to using the Tube as a 3G-WIFI router... Try 1 hour batt life from full charge... Or 3 hours 3G torrenting... Main reasons why I got a car charger AND a 3400mAH ext. USB charger)... i think having the display constantly on for the duration of the trip will be what's eating the battery life, but i could be wrongBut at least it doesn't suck batt when you're not using it... need someone to verify this, no idea how to test |
