Actually our 5800 can simulate some push email function according to this guide
Push Gmail for 5800

From wiki,
Push e-mail is used to describe e-mail systems that provide an "always-on" capability, in which new e-mail is instantly and actively transferred (pushed)

*
waa... battery sure consume more, coz always online, i'm just using pull gmail, instead of push, check the mail every 2 hours..

Provide a background service that monitors incoming messages which may contain information used by Garmin Mobile XT. A new setting will allow the user to turn this option off (Tools -> Settings -> System -> Launch Background Service).
*
yes.. need to enable it once..and then disable it..if not the tsautostart.exe will still run inthe background..even if you already disable it on the first place..
