Finished installing GXT 5.00.30 (upgrade from .20), fuss free and no problem!

Things that are still screwed up:
a) The great TSAutostart.exe problem.

Maybe somebody would need to try and test the mem/power consumption of this thing (TSA.exe) with the Nokia Energy Profiler to once and for all make sure that it's NOT killing off our battery life?

For me, I puas alreadi kill cardrunner.dll from the sys/bin folder and end TSA.exe the process every time I end GXT... A bit particular about proggies running in the background... sweat.gif

But really, great job Garmin guys!

erm ... what do u mean by tsautostart.exe problem ?

so far i know the 5.00.30 already fix the problem. You could disable the setting now through (Tools -> Settings -> System -> Launch Background Service -> disable)
but sometimes it doesnt work immediately. So you have enable it FIRST and then disable it again.

i tested the lastest version of garmin just now n i found it very laggy.not the graphics or anything but its slow on telling me when to turn.i am alrdy at the junction but on garmin i am still 100m away or so.its also very slow in recalculating route after i purposely go wrong way.previously i was using nokia maps trial n i never had this problem.i am using malfreemaps 1.42

mine very smooth, usually the lag of routing is due to poor satellite signal and not related to garmin/ MFM issue.

Try to test it for more times and only make the conclusion.

From symbian-freak website,
Someone is developing multitouch on our tube though it is software based simulation .. great news for that .. hehe

resistive touch screen could do that as well like ipone multitouch technology, hope the result promising
