QUOTE(boxsystem @ Mar 3 2009, 05:47 PM)
I bet SAF will persuade CR to break Pool's record first before he's going to leave.

it is now 17-3. One or three seasons more, we might just be the most successful english club in the world as if we aren't already are in terms of marketing and global brand name.

and I heard some bullshit over the radio this morning on how Rafa blames the absence of Torres cost them their title challenge.
*
When we get our 18, we WILL be the most successful club DOMESTICALLY in Enguland.

WHY?

We level in league with them rite? 18 for both.

Next we look at the second most prestigous trophy in Enguland which is the FA Cup. We won it more than them. 11 vs 7

So domestically the tally is (League and FA Cup)

18-11 VS 18-7

The reasoning above is just like how we determine the Premier league. In the event of same points accumulated they look at the Goal Difference. The same reasoning with being equal on league tally, lets look at the next prestigous Trophy which is FA Cup.

So IF we win it this time, we would not be on equal footing (i.e. sharing the same perch) but will effectively knock em of the perch biggrin.gif and be crowned the most successful club DOMESTICALLY in Enguland. (Europe lain cite since we are 2 winnings below em)

BTW, any Liverpool fans willing to argue with my reasoning, feel free to do so.

5-3. They are already shifting their arguments, a bunch of flicker minded supporters. laugh.gif

CL>BPL

KRAP.

Thats why I mention DOMESTIC. We overtake them 1 by 1, domestically first for starters.

Liverpool 18-5 can be easily overtake by Man Utd... just five us 3 more years and we'll be 20-6 oledi  whistling.gif
*
hmm.gif That is beyond my wildest fantasies. For now I wish to equal their 18 league title first.

hey guys... if I remember correctly, the winner of Carling Cup will be given a chance to play in UEFA competition next season. Am I right?
If this is the case, can we contest in 2 Europe competitions (UEFA & CL) next year? Damn, should let Spurs win the final so that UEFA competition will not be wasted  tongue.gif
*
I think the 6th place in league will get this Spot since we will qualify for the next season UCL.

Good game so far. Newcastle are up for it.

Could have gone 2-1 if Vida puts it in with his chance

aiyoyo. didn't realise i could be slated like this for being a man utd fan for over 20 years

what i mean is , the point gap with the rest is getting wider and everything including challenges , dramas ,suspense ,anticipation may all be over by end of this month and its only the month March. very sian lah

with FERGINATOR  at the helm , man utd will still win the BPL lah come end of the season , but i like last season where the title was decided on the last match. isn't that more suspenseful and thrilling

aiyah , i have the experience lah ,  one look at this team and the other look at the other challengers , i know this team or rather this man utd squad will win the BPL lah . just wanted the suspense and thrill to last longer till the end . i want the best satisfaction

i am more worried at the UCL with inter although i expect Utd to pull through at old trafford

may the best team win the BPL .
*
I find this hard to believe because English Football League does not exist before 1992 tongue.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

????

i talk about being a supporter for 20 years and not the history of EFL , EPL or BPL lah

Adoi, I meant my post as a joke lah. Taking the piss at ourselves as a fan. Most ppl believes that man utd fans are after the premiership when we start to rule. So when you said you fans for 20 years plus, I just making a joke lah.
