QUOTE(BoltonMan @ Mar 2 2009, 08:38 AM) players are exhausted ... major change for the game in St James Park. I think that should be the line-up unless Gary and Rooney are not 100% fit. Rooney looks good last night. Doesn't seem to be sick. The following possible line up VDS Neville Rio Vidic Evra Ronaldo Carrick Fletcher Park Rooney Berbatov Btw, really impress with Foster, much more better then PIG ... somemore he is English Still, overall disappointed with some of the players play ... only Rio and Foster the best men on the pitch ... others are average ... Giggs could start ahead of Ronaldo. |

QUOTE(davidlow7 @ Mar 2 2009, 09:08 AM) U can't rate/judge Tevez in just 1 game but I do think that the price tag is one of the reason we are a bit slow in securing his signature for permanent and even didn't mind losing the first-option. Nevertheless, it was one of his worst performance last night. Over complicating things. I always hope that he can play well when he is given chance to start but he failed to stake his starting place most of the time. This post has been edited by MyDevil: Mar 2 2009, 09:49 AM |

QUOTE(davidlow7 @ Mar 3 2009, 01:36 PM) It reminds me of The Great Dane Good. We are now back to footie talk, no more gay talks Single-handedly throw the ball past half a field to launch a counter attack. That is awesome. Till now you will hardly see a GK who can outperform him in this! Foster can throw far too. I like him more than PIG (PIG = Pole In Goal = Kuszczak This post has been edited by MyDevil: Mar 3 2009, 02:11 PM |

QUOTE(Sheep319 @ Mar 3 2009, 02:26 PM) Foster's kicking and throwing power are outstanding. He looks short from the photos or TV but he is actually quite tall - 6' 2'' (1.88m).He kicked the ball from his box, and it almost reaches the opponent's 6 yard box. HOW AMAZING IS THAT!? And he's a leftie too. Looks like he's a worthy successor to VDS, except he's kinda short, no? He might be the English Casillas. |

VDS not convincing tonight. May be the icy surface.
Magpies counter attacks are dangerous. Our CBs need to be careful stopping them as both already carded. |

Second half a bit boring. Not much chances created. SAF preferred to rest players instead of making some substitutions. Nevertheless, 3 points in the bag from quite a tough opponent.

Is he being sacarstic or what?
I don't care if the forum is not moving or the footie talk shows have nothing to talk about. As long as Man Utd keeps on winning, I will enjoy every moment. |

If i'm not mistaken, he play's on the left and also plays as a striker. Park on the right, Morimoto on the left ASIAN INVASION! Pity Dong is gone lol. |

I like Foster but I think SAF will give PIG a start.
PIG O'Shea - Evans - Vidic - Fabio (hopefully) Gibson - Scholes - Anderson - Nani Welbeck - Tevez Giggs, Evra, Carrick, Rio, VDS, Berbatov, Rooney and Ronaldo should be rested for Inter and Liverpool. Anderson need to start to regain fitness. |

I doubt Berbatov will start tonight. SAF will save him against Inter and Liverpool next week.

QUOTE(Berbatov) "I know some players like to give themselves a figure to aim for. That's not me. I just want to play my part in the team and help United win trophies with goals, assists and my play. "I hope that people appreciate the assists as well as my goals because sometimes I take more pleasure making a goal than scoring myself." Sometime, I wish he will shoot more. |
