as far as i know IP 60.xxx, 118.xxx, 115.xxx all being routed thru london then to US. unless undersea cable broken again like that time, they shouldnt be routing us 1/2 way around the world.

maybe they're too cheap to pay for routing thru japan/australia, over the pacific to hawaii then to west coast usa.

Yea. Same here. In penang. Noticed 60.xxx ip does not make a huge difference.
Really slow connection....reminds me of my dial-up connection 10 yrs ago

damn stupid la 1mbps line download 1-4kbps only. dail up standard weih... makes me remember the times i need to dial 1515 and hear that "song" play from my modem. biggrin.gif

edit: currently using 60.50 range. but its the same accross all the range lah for now, tried all 118, 124, 60 ip range kena. (petaling jaya, kota damansara area)

For me (Selayang, Batu Caves), every IP also gives me the same result = SLOW!!!

Before it was frequent disconnection (DSL blinking issue)
Now it is slow and sometimes can't even load.
Not happening to local server but international servers such as United States Web Servers.
