So I bought this crappy game as I thought its not going to run on my 8600GT with Q8400. Well in fact it did , anyway I've unlocked 4 achievement

Anyway the game is pretty hard. Just to let you know , the game runs pretty well on 1280x1024 with 2x AA , High/Medium settings (shadows is set to medium). To my surprise it runs pretty well !

I am not more of a racer , I am just playing it for fun as it seems to be pretty nice , however if you guys wanna ajak online thingy let me know , k.

Is it me or is downloading ghost with dirt 2 is impossible. I mean I go to Time Trial , choose the combination and I see ghost select screen

It says downloading ghost and thats it. It fails most of the time , meh can't get that achievement to be unlocked

I've used 8600GT and Dirt 2 is smooth sailing , Cheese laptop 8600GTs are underpowered , they have half the pipelines , half the power of their desktop counterparts.

But then the game may need DX9.0c card , so I am not quite sure about that. If it runs on 7600GT , it will run on 7300GT as well. They are built upon the same core

Well I am not quite sure , if he forces the resolution to be at 800x600 , it should do a good job. Bear in mind that he uses a quad core or tri-core or whatever AMD calls it to handle the task. Well he has to test it out anyway to see if it works. I've seen people playing dirt 2 with Intel onboard graphics card (well 12fps , and thats not playable at all , but then there are people out there who is able to tolerate such low fps)
