Since steam is now offering Dirt2 with such amazing price, is it worth it to purchase such racing games and use keyboard to play? Since I don't own any controller/steering wheel. I've played Grid before but didn't go well with keyboard sad.gif

What is the optimum graphic setting for DiRT2? I play all maxed out including best AA with my current spec (see siggy) but have framerate drop issue, I'm expecting to play this with over 50 FPS but sometimes it even drops to 30... I was able to play GRID all maxed out without framerate drop below 60 FPS though hmm.gif

I'm using 4770 and have around 56 fps but sometimes drop to 49 in rally events. Rest constant 53~55fps.

As I thought something was wrong for the ridiculous FPS drop, already upgraded to latest nvida driver since I was using some old ones sweat.gif All better now biggrin.gif

It seems that the frame rate drop under 50fps is noticeable for this game, I'm playing with FRAPS on, whenever the framerate drop below 50, I can see that the visual is lagging, is it because the visual rate is faster than any first-person shooting game... if you get what I mean
