I played ME1 on the XBox360, not buggy.
ME2 on the PC ... well, I don't get crashes, but occasionally my shepard goes up and invisible ramp and I'm stuck flying in the air =[

I'm on my 2nd playthrough for ME2 and I've only gotten the stuck-in-corner bug once. Never experienced it at all for my first time.

How far am I towards the end?

I would still continue to build my team until I have finished most of the sidequest before doing that.

Thanks.

Meaning to say that you've already gotten the Reaper IFF and awaiting EDI to integrate it into your Normandy? If that is the case I could only hope that you recruited everyone and done most of their sidequest.

Cause your time is ticking... muahahaha!

Haven't gotten the Reaper IFF, just encounter that mission, I choose to continue building my team.

Looks like the end is near.

Both Mass Effect 1 and Mass Effect 2 really better than what I expected them to be.

If you havent gotten the Reaper IFF then you're not able to enter the omega 4 relay. The ship that you need to retrieve the IFF is only a Derelic Reaper ship, not the collector homeworld.

Yeah, how long more to the end from there onwards?

I am planning to finish this game by the end of this week.

And will move on to another game.

After you complete the IFF mission, you'll get the Suicide Mission shortly after. Once you do the Suicide Mission, the game's over.

Note, how you do in the Suicide Mission is largely dependent on your team, loyalties and also the upgrades for your ship.

Alrighto, will do all the upgrades and all my team member's side quests.

I think there are only 3-4 more left.

I really dislike Grunt and kinda missed Wrex as my team member.

Grunt is a supa tanker! 600hp and high armor + fortification = gg

but on insanity mode it only take a swamp or husk to overrun him.

Grunt's dialogues aren't as interesting as Wrex, a tad too predictable.

Combat wise, he is pretty good.

Grunt != Wrex

The only thing they share in common is that they're both Krogan (And even that is up for debate!)

Wrex was supposed to be this badass Krogan with a quick wit. Grunt is more of the "amnesiac tank bred super soldier". I quite enjoyed when Grunt learns new things from his imprints.

I'd sooner compare Wrex to Zaeed than with Grunt.

Can't seem to talk to Zaeed in the ship.

He usually just give one liners when you activate him or his stuff on the tables.

Same goes to Mass Effect.

But in Mass Effect 2, taking the shortcut equals to highway to hell.

Exactly.

Have to do most of the sidequest.

Didn't pay RM130 just to see the ending.

It's not the destination but the entire journey.

Just talk to him like any other npc, he will tell you his grandmother story just like every1 else. You have to "poke" him everytime he finishes a story if you want more until he ask you to piss-off.

The only diff is that you can't ask him any questions; it's a 1 way communication.

I think its important to remember that the focus of the game IS the NPC quests. Considering that ALL the NPC quests (Recruitment and loyalty) are main quests (Each lasting a healthy 30 minutes to complete at least), its not right to lump them in the pile of "side quests".

One liners? I got him to say loads when he talks about his gear. He wasn't a proper NPC, thus doesn't have the same dialogue trees as the other characters, but he's certainly interesting to talk to.

The point I'm making is, Wrex is a one of a kind character and Grunt was never meant to replace him (They aren't even the same class). Same as how Samara isn't supposed to replace Liara and Jacob/Miranda doesn't replace Kaidan/Ashley.

Sometimes it is kinda repetitive because almost any situation will throw you into a scenario where u gotta gun down a lot of enemies and finally the boss.

On the side note, Happy Birthday, H@H@.
