since Pacific Insurance had revised their Medi-Pac premium by a lot starting this yr, I found it not really interesting anymore. Any advice on what better package can i get for the premium of RM667 for male 33?

currently the medi-pac is annual limit 40k and life time 150k

GI is General Insurance and just because an insurer offers life doesnt mean they dont offer GI. all the policies are standalone policies and i think all but manulife are GI (25% discount for direct clients)

when u said direct clients, means buy directly from the GI?
Let say if I initially bought from agent (2005 not yet implement direct client's discount if not mistaken), and then when the yearly renew notice came out, I pay at the GI's office without going thru the agent, still eligible for direct client discount? I'm talking about Pacific Medi Pac. Thx

alexwsk,

should be no problem. can inform then you want the policy to be direct and not any longer in the agent's portfolio. the agent comission for GI H&S is a "only" 15% of each yearly premium, 25% is for PA. sorry for the previous statement - typo and i didnt notice it until now.

yea, it's 15% as stated in the product disclosure. I was not happy with the agent anyway, did not get any letter informing about the increase of premium starting Jan 2011, so would be better if directly under Pacific.
