Hi all!
I'm very sorry to create a new thread coz no one is replying to my question at the HSF collection Database thread.

I'm looking for a new HSF which:
1. Costs around RM200 or less.
2. Doesn't require mobo removal during HSF installation.

My current choices are:
1. Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro
2. Arctic Cooling Freezer XTREME

I've also read some reviews about Scythe's HSF which are quite good and they are also less then RM200 using pushpins. However, the AC Freezer XTREME is mounted using screws (no need to remove mobo), which is more secure than pushpins.

So any other suggestions/recommendations/comments?

Thanks!

Added on February 19, 2009, 9:20 amI'm also looking for fans!

Currently interested in 'Cooler Master 90CFM with Blue LED Fan'.
Its cheap with high CFM and low noise. I know that its not exactly 90CFM but its still a good price for such a fan.

I thought of getting Scythe's fans but they are costly..above RM70 per fan! ><

So please post any suggestions/recommendations/comments about fans.

Thanks!

No..not lazy..

After fixing my mobo to the casing..I actually realized that I used the wrong type of screw provided with the mobo! I tried to UNscrew it but I can't!! cry.gif

Maybe I have to try other methods to unscrew the screws..else I can't take my mobo out forever~..

Sunbeam CCF looks good..lots of good reviews brows.gif

Any idea about the fans??

I'm confused..

I've just read reviews about Arctic Cooling Freezer XTREME, and the processor temps can go as low as 25C at idle but the Sunbeam CCF can only go as low as about 30C at idle..

Why no one recommends the AC Freezer XTREME??

dun read reviews alone... best is u buy 2 and test them out urself
otherwise read forums for personal experience feedback

fyi, sunbeam ccf was once the no.1 in frostytech, but read through in lowyat forum regarding air coolers, u will c ccf isnt as great as those dat boasted it biggrin.gif
