Hi, about the Rm78 explore promotion, somebody told me that the usage is unlimited. That means no 10G quote apply and you will receive 700Kb speed all the time. But after 1 year, the 10G quote will be effective again. Is that true?

QUOTE(ks98 @ Sep 2 2009, 01:49 PM) unlimited here means unlimited browsing... not unlimited bandwidth. after 10G, you can still browse with slower speed... (this is so called unlimited browsing) Look like the salesman is cheating the customer to get the deal....So after the 10G quote, what speed will i degrade to? 128Kb? 284Kb? |

As long as i can still have edge speed after cap i am happy.
But from DIGI FAQ Q17. What is the usage limit for these broadband packages? * A17. - The Discover package comes with a data quota/usage limit of 3GB. Usage beyond 3GB will be charged at 15sen/10MB and will be capped at a maximum of RM138/month. - The Explore package comes with a data quota/usage limit of 10GB. Usage beyond 10GB will be charged at 5sen/10MB and will be capped at a maximum of RM138/month. - The Extreme package comes with a data quota/usage limit of 20GB. Usage beyond 20GB will be free although the speed will be throttled to 128kbps. with 128Kb speed, i think we can't do anything not even google... |

After 3~4 months usage, what i would like to comment on DIGI broadband is OMG!!!!!!!
User report from Bukit Jambul, Penang and this is my speedtest and i am connect to 3.5G network 1st attempt: ![]() 2nd attempt: ![]() 3rd attempt: ![]() I am not open anything in background except the firefox to perform the test. What happen to DIGI? Also what i notice is that the server is at the Sabah side. Is it always been like this or they just recently move it to new site? QUOTE(IwanAGP @ Dec 14 2009, 10:18 PM) It's but i alrdy know the day will soon come to me... so still can be accepted... just dl bt...... feel like wanna die... whole night, 400mb file only run 25%... LOlz 128Kbps is still acceptable for me with one condition which is still connect to 3.5G network. 236Kbps speed but downgrade to EDGE network is not ok for me because Something i wanna ask... before this, the agent told me will be throttled to edge speed... I thought edge speed is 236.6kbps?? But the sms received says 128kbps... EDGE have high latency compare to 3.5G network. Beside that if you open one page at a time i think you still able to surf the net smoothly.... |
