Rumors said Digi will end their Free Modem plan by the end of this month and perhaps start with new/better promo plan. Anyone heard of this?..is it true?..

About the free modem, does the modem unlock or only can use for Digi only?..

How much do I need to pay on first bill when I subscribe the Discover package?. Any installation or hidden fee?..

haha..I think my friend got conned la..he said..one of the digi staff at pc fair said that the fup for rm88 promo package is unlimited (no 10 GB limit) for those who sign up during the pc fair..we test the connection then and it is quite terrible..because our area (desa melawati) only covered by edge....lucky me not subscribe yet..

Did signed up too..haih..but the connection is very slow..hope my workplace got 3G coverage..

Wanna ask..is connection speed average (100Kbps ~ 250Kbps) sufficient enough to connect the Yahoo Messenger or any other chat client?..mine cannot connect..always fail and ask to retry..even my gtalk cannot connect..is it connection or the client itself problem?..

I think maple also cannot play la..huhu..

huhu..my download speed using IDM is around (7 kbps ~ 20 Kbps) and sometimes reach 40 Kbps. then i found out, when i download something, i cannot log into YM and my page loaded very slow. stupid me. it took me like forever to finish download the maple client (1.4 gb)...haih..

wanna ask..no extra charge for usage over FUP will last only for 1 year or forever?..

I will try to reach FUP and see if there are any additional charges applied..8gb to go..

hahaha..my office also no 3G coverage..only EDGE with 3 bar..my home is better..full bar EDGE..


any news or info when Digi 3G coverage will cover all KL area?..

Same here (not Cheras)..very slow..slower than standard EDGE speed..average below 100..

speed is very slow..frequently disconnected..sometime cannot connect..error XXX occured..solved after restart the computer..haih..

so slow...damn slow..-______________________________________________-!!

My area is under EDGE..first day I subscribe average speed around 120Kbps ~ 250Kbps..
But the past few days..the speed down to average below 40Kbps ~ 100Kbps..hardly reach over 120Kbps..

any linux user here?..just want to know whether can run digi broadband on linux or not..planning to switch my windows with linux mint..

got problem here. my connection always got terminated after a few hours of surfing (5 -6 hours). but when I try to reconnect, this error pop-up -> error 1722 : rpc server is unavailable.

dunno how to solve, current solution is to restart the pc. just wondering what the causes. modem or the connection/coverage itself?..

digi cs told me that digi's 3G coverage will cover nationwide by the end of this year?..is it true or they just bluff?..

Haha..bro..actually the plan started already a few months ago..but they didn't inform us..I keep asking their CS and they keep deny..my friends in celcom told me about that..then after I got the msg about reduced free call and sms between 5+1, I and my principle terus port number to Digi for their Postpaid Family Plan. You know what?, Celcom reject and deny my request to port the number. Reason?. Exceed credit limit. WTF. Fyi, my bill never exceed RM40 per month (I am suppliment) and my principle never exceed RM70/RM80. The funny thing is, the next day after I request to port the number, my unbilled charges suddenly goes up to RM158 and my suppliment RM160. Today, my bill RM170 and my principle RM220 even we never make any calls. Fun isn't it. The solution is we terminate the number and get the new number. Celcom sucka and cekik darah siot. Server lembab nak mampos tunggu sampai 10 minit utk check status. Mcm haram.

My office just got HSDPA connection. Fast2. Better than others who use Celcom and Maxis.

Currently Digi running good with me. Just wondering when the coverage will cover area Klang Gates and desa melawati.

I thought we would be able to check our FUP usage on the dashboard after new dashboard & firmware update.

Welcome to Malaysia. DiGi just upgraded their coverage from EDGE to HSDPA in my area and the speed is damn fast. I dunno how long it will stay fast like now until the area become congested and speed drop.
