QUOTE(fukare @ Jan 7 2010, 10:06 PM) juz wanna share some info with u, hope it will help to imagine the line ... you in 3G area or without 3G coverage? i think i can imagine the speed you having by playing HoN and fps hmm. 50mb per hour is stil ok. now im convinced i should ask an agent to come over and test the speed im using the 58rgt packge, average speed 1mbps~ usually playing HoN (@dota) no lag at all, but when it comes to fps game, the ping is quit high compare to fixed line(tm=2digit ping, dgbb=3digit ping)...so always being kicked when played c.s for example for the data, depend on the game itself i think, mine,1 hour playing hon = 50mb...something like dat la.....k |

QUOTE(PrinceCaspien @ Jan 14 2010, 06:23 PM) Here the HSDPA line is not so strong yet but Klang City should be good, speed depends on the package you subscribe to but true speed have to test it yourself.... the bolded phrase, i thought speed for every package is the same? speed only differs in different area? |

QUOTE(bananalow @ Jan 16 2010, 11:34 AM) its correct, i mean the speed you're getting. they didnt cheat you. the speed mentioned in subscription package is in mega bit unit, while our dl speed is count by kilo byte. try notice the words they use, 1Mbps, small b=bit, 8 times smaller than byte, which is used in our download speed, KBps, B=byte.so 1000Kbps subscription package, divide by 8, = around 125 KBps, where you get 150 KBps dl speed, is actually higher than wat you are supposed to get. its a common misunderstanding. ALOT of people dunno there is a difference there. with B and b representing different units. |

QUOTE(forextrader7 @ Jan 18 2010, 01:07 AM) Anyone knows where to sign up for digi campus for unlimited usage even after over quota? I heard that if we sign up at digi center then we will be charged if over quota but if sign up during the roadshow then will be no extra charge. Is it true? there's no unlimited package. all have quota that if you exceed it, it will reduce your speed until GPRS or EDGE(im not sure which one). What if I want to upgrade after I found that 3G is not enough for me? Can I just tell Digi to upgrade mine and pay extra the next month? Thanks! no more charging extra if over quota since duno when. no matter where you sign up. upgrade after find out 3G is not enough? what's better than 3G currently? all package gives the same speed(according to your area, just larger quota). |

WCDMA or ? Added on January 18, 2010, 1:00 am ![]() haha... gotta love this!! and you cant upgrade the speed. the speed is fixed for every package. it depends on the area, whether it has EDGE only or with 3G |
