Hi all.. I am new in wireless broadband. Want to ask a few questions before deciding to switch to Digi.

1) is high-rise building suitable to use this? i heard some comments that high rise building will suffer from signal weakness.

2) what type of modem is suitable for bb? anyone tried using a router + 3g modem as access point? how's it?

Your fren can still claim back the money right? A staff told me that they have 7 day trial for those not satisfied with the speed and opt for a refund.

New digi user reporting in, connecting at level 15 without any problem.. Speed test 1.1Mbps.. Stil ok lorr...

A question.. Will the capacity continue calculating if I use Digi BB at EDGE speed? Eg. I use it in non-3G coverage for few days... Will the counter keep going?

My home got 3G coverage, just sometimes when I am away from my home, no 3G.... hope they expand faster than expected, while keeping the quality of the service.. Now thinking of whether 10G is sufficient for me or not.. After 10G? is it reduced to 120kbps as stated in the website? kinda slow....

Last few days din on digi, using back lousy shitmyx, last nite tried it again before deciding to switch over or return back, speed was ok, Tropicana area.

Last tue I just downloaded from MU, works like a charm, average 100+kb/s.. i used download manager to download, just in case it dc.. experienced once when dl using firefox, half way no inflow of traffic, wasted my bandwidth...

Is there a discount if I pay my bill using cc auto-debit?

My area suffers no data transfer problem over the weekend until yest. Dissapointed me totally as the cs claims that there's no service interruption in my area, asked me to check my modem coz they suspect my modem has problem.

But that's not a modem problem. I can online whole weekend at my hometown using EDGE, but not at my KL house using 3G. Went to Digi Service Center and it worked fine. But after back home, unable to transfer any data. And finally this early morning able to see download counter moving finally.

Your modem couldn't receive any data totally? Mine can use EDGE (3 days back in hometown), and 3G tested in their service center yesterday. This morning able to receive data at my home, gonna try it again tonite to see how.

Totally disspointed by the service. No Internet for 5 days already in my place. Nothing was done. Called the customer service, very hard to reach. Indeed last nite tried several times and waited several mins. No one picked up my call. My friend just subscribed and she claims that the line was slowwww during nite time, able to use EDGE only at nite... I think Digi is no difference than M**** and C*****, provides slow internet connection for b***dy high price.

Already filed complain with Digi useing Dchat. I stated some of my situation in post #3280. Think not due to modem, coz dy went to their Service Center, they are able to connect to HSDPA. But not at my home. Full scenario like this:

I left my computer on for whole night on Friday nite. On Sat morning when I wake up, the stats shows no data transfer, but still connected to HSDPA (got signal). Tried many times and in my bro laptop but still the same.

Went back hometown at Kuantan then, Kuantan got no 3G / HSDPA, only EDGE, but I was able to online whole weekend using my modem via EDGE connection.

On Monday when I back to PJ, same problem. Then went to Digi Service Center at SS2. The staff there tried to connect using my modem, able to connect without problem. Then tried back in my home, still cannot. Fed up.

Yesterday (Tue) early morning, I was able to on, but speed kinda slow, some page have to reload only able to access. Then off pc and out for work, till the time I went back, cannot online already. Called the CS, too busy to pick up my calls. Zzz..

Hitting monthly quota is definitely impossible since my bill cycle is on 15 Oct. I know my usage style and definitely it's not due to monthly quota. Even so, still able to use EDGE without any problem. But now my problem is that I can detect signal (full bar), can connect but no data transfer (except for yest early morning out of the blue).

Firewall / Antivirus is not a problem here I think. Coz all these while I am able to online without any problem using the same spec / condition of my comp. The night before this incident still online without problem, left it on till next morning, cannot online anymore... Zzz..

Finally can access the net from my house. But quite frequent of disconnection.. And sometimes no data transfer for several seconds. Hope things get better and better again.

Me too.. Tropicana pj here. HSDPA down for 1 week. Pay RM88 for EDGE, might instead use other ISP for better speed. Digi, dissapointed me very much.
