QUOTE(davidmak @ Aug 29 2009, 11:45 AM) For me, the USB modem is already stuck at WCDMA only. There seems to be a problem over the last 2 days in Taman Midah where the signal will just disappear and cause a disconnection. Then it takes a long time for it to re-detect WCDMA signal. What I did was just unplug and plug it back in. Bam! Signal is there. Seems like it was a disconnection on purpose or something. wcdma only u get it when u haven to connect if u connect already will be hsdpa sign . pls be understandBut that incident did not repeat itself anymore. Been using for the pass 12 hours. Problem free. the good way pls setting to wcdma only at your network setting This post has been edited by NicolasLau: Aug 31 2009, 09:12 AM |

QUOTE(laststep @ Sep 2 2009, 03:53 PM) As long as i can still have edge speed after cap i am happy. 128 still can chat with msn and skype . wont be any problemBut from DIGI FAQ Q17. What is the usage limit for these broadband packages? * A17. - The Discover package comes with a data quota/usage limit of 3GB. Usage beyond 3GB will be charged at 15sen/10MB and will be capped at a maximum of RM138/month. - The Explore package comes with a data quota/usage limit of 10GB. Usage beyond 10GB will be charged at 5sen/10MB and will be capped at a maximum of RM138/month. - The Extreme package comes with a data quota/usage limit of 20GB. Usage beyond 20GB will be free although the speed will be throttled to 128kbps. with 128Kb speed, i think we can't do anything not even google... |

QUOTE(siewbun @ Sep 27 2009, 09:39 PM) I wonder anyone has experience the same situation like mine. for their list still don have 3g coverage yet the mean they can't do anything for u if u can get it 3g signal at here u are lucky u normal u can get signal at hereI was using DGBB for a month and a half and was all fine. I live in Jln Ipoh, near Dynasty hotel area. My area is a non official 3G coverage area, but I've been receiving 3G signal from spillage of other 3G area i guess. The signal wasn't strong, was around 17% to 24%, but it was good enough for me to get a stable connection. And that was until 3 days go. I came back from work and suddenly discovered there wasn't anymore 3G signal, only down to EDGE. I called the DGBB customer support to relate my case to them. They said my area is not a 3G coverage area and there's nothing he can do about it. I told him to check my bandwidth usage as that would be a proof that I've been getting the 3G signal usage all these while. Also I told them, I manually search for the network with my modem and my phone, DG3G did show up, but my modem failed to register to the DG3G network. His reply was that he can't check my bandwidth and there's nothing he can do. He refused to open a case for me on the basis that my area is not in the official coverage area.. I'm so bloody pissed off rite now coz after a month of happy usage and recommending DGBB to ppl, this is what I got back in return. |
