Yesterday i filled in 34.44 Lrts which is RM 62.00, when through hump, up hill, drive 5 of my colleagues for lunch today. The meter shows 9.8 km/L, i can't believe what i saw!!!
The best i can go is 400 km+ so after 5k service the max will be 500km+ (light footer). After all, nothing special with this new 5 speed iVtec engine. Conclusion, Noisy engine, gear sluggish changing and bad FC. No doubts that exterior is very nice. p.s. nothing is perfect. This post has been edited by cppau: Mar 3 2009, 05:30 PM |

This afternoon i went to Meguiar's Show Car Detail Centre at Jln Templer, PJ just beside the roundabout towards Assunta Hospital.
There are 2 package avaible atm, Ultimate Detailing and Car wash product. Firstly, Ultimate Detailing cost RM 650.00, using professional Meguiar's product and will last for 1 year. 2-3 Months waxing maintenance to let ur car looks outstanding and bright. Secondly, Car wash product cost RM 385.00. Most of the car body product around 5-6 items are included and they free u a locker to store ur product. They will oso give u a loyalty card with RM 100.00 inside (can use for 5 times car wash). Futhermore, u need to pay RM18.00 (non-loyalty member RM30.00) for each car wash with the product u bought. Whenever one product finish, u just need to top up. Need some opinion from u guys, my friend offer me 3 steps Meguiar's polishing & waxing + Sealant from a well-known brand & chemical that protect all windows from water spots or marks. And all the above process will cost about RM 499.00 (2 hours+ to finish). On the other hand, Ultimate Detailing using professional Meguiar's product will cost RM 650.00. (1 working day to finish). Which one is more worthy? And which one will u guys choose? This post has been edited by cppau: Mar 4 2009, 07:08 PM |

QUOTE(sebaver @ Mar 5 2009, 02:20 AM) Hmm... I don't think the SA should be angry with you.!! The golden rule all SAs should bear in mind is that the "Customer is ALWAYS RIGHT".!!! Yes Andy, actually i would like to support GLS Auto. Ms. Tan and Willie are very friendly, it is just RM 20 differences so not a big deal to me. But i was told group purchase at pandan indah is RM 330, this make a huge gap. Futhermore, GLS Auto still my 1st option although both of the accessories shop also quite far from where i stay and my working place. Sysh, I can call GLS to see if I can drive the price down further. Will quote the price cppau's getting... Maybe I can get GLS to become our panel workshop for our HC3, if they can guarantee us the best prices in town. cppau, ok for you if you can do in USJ 7?? |

QUOTE(lupe @ Mar 11 2009, 04:04 PM) Bro..any pics to see? as i know oem modulo got a rubber piece at the front fog light area, where the thai ones they just spray black coating on it..so wana know how does the one u mention look like..thnks That the cover for fog light, actually there are a few different shape for modulo. I have seen modulo for S spec (they cover up the fog light area for future modification), the one that you have mention (they just mold a shape for fog light, stick together with the front bumper), and the one i'm having now. It is exactly the same like the ori modulo. Abs material and all with rubber lining. There are locally made modulo, thailand and from taiwan. There are a few different material on abs as well, hahaha. My friend who is selling bodykit told me all this shit. |

QUOTE(sysh @ Mar 11 2009, 06:21 PM) Say Pau, something that I didnt check on your Modulo. Earlier Lupe said The material for fog light cover are something like plastic + rubber. "Bro..any pics to see? as i know oem modulo got a rubber piece at the front fog light area, where the thai ones they just spray black coating on it..so wana know how does the one u mention look like..thnks" Question is, that black area near the front fog lamp, is it rubber? I thought it was plastic / ABS too? Just that it's 2 piece to incorporate the S-Spec and E-Spec? Oh yeah, perhaps you can enlighten us about the diff type of ABS material and whether local, thailand or taiwan is better.. The best abs material are from Taiwan then comes to thailand and local. - How to differentiate? Taiwan - Back of the bumper is black colour. Thailand - Back of the bumper are yellowish colour. Local - Haven't encounter yet, but seldom people go for locally made one. It depends how much abs raw material they put on it. 80%, 70% 60%, 50%? Who know's except those people who manufacture it. Difficult to describe in words, see the attached picture as below. ![]() This post has been edited by cppau: Mar 11 2009, 06:46 PM |

QUOTE(sysh @ Mar 11 2009, 06:41 PM) Oic. That's cool. But usually they will cut the cost to the minimum, so they will only spray the front of the bumper.Actually can't really tell the colour of the bumper since it'll come painted already with the original car colour. Thanks for the heads up. Will scrutinise it when I put mine later.. p.s. i've attached a picture on my previous post, have a look. |

QUOTE(sysh @ Mar 11 2009, 07:00 PM) The 2nd photo (black colour one), there's that gap there. So you're saying there will be another piece ie. the plastic + rubber piece where we can put insert the fog lamps, rite? Okay, Let's make it simple. The 1st photo (white colour one), don't quite understand.. I know it's a one piece..and then you fit your fog lamps inside. If you are an S-Spec? then we have that gap there? On the spraying part.. will make sure all parts are sprayed and just plug + play. if they decide to charge extra, gonna take steering lock and ketuk their head..hehe! misrepresentation of facts... Ori modulo has 1 front bumper, 2 fog light cover, 2 side skirt, 1 rear bumper, 1 duck spoiler & 2 modulo logo (optional). (Mine is exactly the same like ori modulo.) There are a few type more. For S-Spec 1. There is a look alike E-Spec modulo for S-Spec, just like the picture shown above. It contains 1 front bumper, 2 side skirt, 1 rear bumper & 1 duck spoiler. 2. There is another one for S-Spec is they use a cover to cover up the fog light area, eventually the cover can be taken out (for future add on fog light.) The (1.) modulo which is 1 piece, you cannot do anything for future modification. For instance, add on fog light. For E-Spec 1. There is one modulo which comes in 1 whole piece front bumper, just 2 whole for fog light. Looks ugly. (The reason i buy modulo because of the fog light cover, it makes NHC looks outstanding and fear looking. One piece front modulo is easier to install, just stick to the ori bumper. whereas the modulo come with 2 fog light cover. They need take off the ori fog light cover in order to fit in the modulo fog light cover. Take a close look at the ori bumper, u can see the cover are separate from the bumper.
