Wow! V3 already!
I noticed the pricing for modulo kits got some mistakes with numbering 7,00??
Mine is 13.4km/l. Is it bad?
I reset my meter by holding down for 2 sec. It won't affect anything right? It start to calculate my trip from 0.0 till 17.8. Is that mean i have drove 17.8 km? And before starting my car in the morning, i see the cold temperature display on. Wait for 5 mins still there? Means my car engine temperature is low? But i thought it suppose to go off after a few second? Or after we start the engine, the engine became warm, then the cold temp light off?
I wish to install auto lock. (lock when press the brake only) and make my alarm louder. (too soft, even dog barking is louder than it)
What should i start off?

but... we can still find those Gen1 and Gen2 city here.. it's just rare, but it's here.. so why don't name it Gen5 as the Wikipedia also name it as Gen5..
*
...well, what's written on Wiki isn't necessary correct, or in this case applicable to us.
As I've mentioned in the v1 thread, the reason why it was chosen 3G was 'cos Honda Malaysia officially 'labeled' it as the official 3G.
Hence, the rational for using that label. smile.gif

I will never buy original or replica Modulo kits because:
1. They're ugly.
2. They're over-priced.
3. Got kit macam no kit. A waste of time.

13.4km/l is not bad for new City. For the tripmeter, holding it any longer won't have any function or impact. Yes, it means you've travelled 17.8km. I noticed that new i-VTEC engines are hard to warm. Even my R20A engine is slow too.

Regarding auto-lock, you should fix one for your safety and convenient. Alarm will not get louder with default Honda security system. It's because it's embedded within ECU. There's only one way to do it - change alarm.

Yes, change the alarm. They'll unplug your original Honda alarm and replace with the new alarm. So your original Honda alarm will be deemed useless, so do the buttons on your key.

The waveblade key is really nice. That holds me from changing my original alarm.

There's so many in the market la friend. Honestly, I think product A and product B has little to no difference between them. Do you understand the technology behind them? After reading so many brochures, they all look the same with a bunch of really technical jargons that nobody really cares about.

Stick with known brands like:

v-kool
ecotint
Llumar
3M

The chances that you will go wrong with them is quite low, and if you do, then really just suay luck.

We are going to install the autolock soon, cost around RM130. It will not void warranty but to add a small device to handle the autolock. One of our owner installed it at the same workshop and working well.

As for the alarm, one of our fellow owner has move the alarm from the boot to the bumper area. The alarm sounded much louder. He has checked with his SA that it would not void the alarm warranty as well.

I'd reckon to get a portable lock. Though useless, but it's just for show, better than nothing. My SA said installing a brake pedal lock may void brake warranty if you could not press the brake pedal fully to activate it.
