QUOTE(mrsmile @ Feb 17 2009, 10:05 PM) this has game version and anime version...i wanna know the anime version got how many part? what's the title? IIRC only 2 arcs were animated: ZoE: Idolo ZoE: Dolores Idolo is a fairly short OVA which is played as pretty straight forward tragedy. It recounts the events leading up to the Deimos Incident tragedy. Dolores is a 26-episode TV series set several years after Idolo and represents an interesting take on the universe from the POV of a family trying to stay together in face of socio-political events mostly out of their control. The tragic protagonist of Idolo, Radium Lavans reappears as the baddie in Dolores. edit: For the record, I think this is a vastly underrated franchise that deserves far more attention than it is getting. IMHO Gundam fans suffering from bishounen plot armour and haro fatigue will find the well thought-out politics and highly detailed universe of ZoE comparable (if not superior) to that of the golden era of U.C and certainly miles ahead of the newer alternative Gundam stories This post has been edited by oe_kintaro: Feb 17 2009, 10:43 PM

QUOTE(wolfx @ Feb 18 2009, 10:48 AM) Since when it was cel shaded in the game? Anyway didn't hear good reviews about the anime so i didn't bother with it.....is it as good as kintaro said? WRT Dolores: IIRC, the animation quality was only so so and obviously on a limited budget. If you are watching the anime for the mecha, IMHO the only really cool looking one is Anubis (makes a cameo towards the end). To me, given the weird design, I don't really care about the mecha, but enjoyed characters and the sense of world-building that goes on in ZoE. It's in all the little details that make the show interesting for me and impressed me that there was a lot going on in the background (that didn't necessarily relate to the main story). This is what science fiction is all about, and not just getting from plot point A to B. Perhaps I am in the minority, but if you catch my drift, then you should pay more attention to the series.
