There are a lot of shops selling these clothing in Sg. Wang Plaza and Times Square, go have a look around.

Specifically, you may try checking out Anatomi in Sg. Wang and Sunway Pyramid or i-Socks in Times Square for punk, goth and androgynous visual kei clothing.

Well you gotta define which style. It's not like there's only 1 style in Japan. There's Goth, punk, or young n trendy like what Malaysians are following now

There is a specific shop selling big sized clothing called BOS. But it is located in Kotaraya where the Indonesians like to hang out. Their prices and selection are only so so. They have branch in Klang and some places as well. Usually can see their ad in The Star : Metro.

Japanese clothing as in Yukata? Kimono? Jinbei? There is this shop in Times square that sells summer Yukata. But the prints are not nice. I believe it only looks nice if its plain. But they use fabrics that are somewhat like rojak batik prints. And some with some Japanese words in brush strokes. Not nice. Price was RM99 last time.

Visual Kei is awesome. But some went too far by wearing skirt. Like ex member of An Cafe, Bou. Some may look like a girl and so on.

As far as i know, I-sock at times square are especially for j-rock style. Expensive and, quality, ehhh. Well, thats me, ones opinion may not be the same.

At Malaysia, we dont have harajuku street.

Anywho, uruha's hair, f-cking awesome. Just the hair dry.gif

They can look somewhat weird to most people here but surely they are nowhere near 'garbage'. Fashion is after all design and not everybody's cup of tea.

Kiks Tyo & Quolomo have one of the best prints around fyi.
Those you see selling in Sg Wang or Times Square are fake versions.
They use direct printing on the tee so the print is rough and color looks fake.
Selling for less than RM50 per piece.
The REAL and AUTHENTIC ones can only be gotten from Showroom or Sole What and they retail for ard RM199~RM259, depending on how rare.
Those are the quality ones and I can tell you the print is good, real good.
I have ard 10 so I know nod.gif

i say you are so shallow because you called visual kei clothings garbage, and yes visual kei is not for everyone and most of the time people failed to pull it off but visual kei clothing does not deserve to be called garbage.

Look bro, I am not here to argue with you about who is richer and who has more knowledge bout street-wear.
Like what jind86 said, everyone has their own cup of tea.
I feel that Kiks Tyo and Quolomo tees are good quality for my standard. Yeah I know you own high street labels so maybe you look down on us who owns Kiks Tyo.
But whatever man, being 3 years in the street scene doesn't make you the king.
I agree you know more than me but what's the point of sounding so sarcastic ?
Some people love i-socks, what can we say ? It's based on personal's choice and we have to respect that.
I'm not here to dis-respect you or smtg, hope you understand my point.

Come to think of it dude, try to imagine when you get older and you look at those youngsters who wears VK, and you started to admire them, will you be asking your self why when ur young u duwan to give VK a try? We only have one life, try it before its too late, once ur young life is gone then its gone forever until your next life.

I personally do rock VK but i just let my hair grow long and set it until like the Gazette those, but i don't really like to wears VK outfit coz i don't really like the costumes that i-socks is selling, its abit over-rated and it can be found almost everywhere, which makes it not special anymore, i wish i could get to Harajuku one day and buy their's brand, which is better IMO. One of their famous brand called Sex Pot, which sponsors to Gazette, An Cafe, and any other j rock band, if i'm not wrong.

VK is nice but everyone have their own liking. but it is too much if you call a fashion garbage or the person scum bag. Even ppl like hippy style.
we gotta be open minded and accept who they are and what fashion they like. not insulting. everything got critics . nothing is perfect.

Visual kei is a Japanese street style - made popular by Japanese bands spotting all those elaborately flamboyant costumes that are mostly androgynous.

Japanese VK bands are full of 'traps' - you might think that they are girls at first glance but once you look under all that makeup and frilly dresses, you will be in for a big surprise:

personally would never recommend anyone to go for i-socks as the quality of the clothing sucks as well as the price. have never been there physically but I've seen more reviews saying that the quality of the stuff and the racked up pricing sucks.

if you want to go for those vkei inspired looks in physical stores in msia, the chances are near to 0. you're better off either

1. finding a tailor
2. ordering from china sites (eg. taobao)
3. order from japan from the brands (shipping and the pricing can be a killer though)

or you can try to DIY the clothing yourself. chains? get them on taobao, hook them on your black jeans or w/e and you're good to go.

blood? red fabric paint. zippers and chains and stuff can be sewed on (but of course must learn abit if sewing lah)

if you go out in vkei clothing, please at least do something to the hair + makeup :/ idk why but vkei isnt vkei unless the full set is completed somehow... no hair but w/ make up + clothes + shoes = something missing. its like you lack the other piece.

have seen epic fail cases like going out all in those punk related (example) (prolly from i-socks or something) w/o the hairstyle = looks like some sec sch kid acting gangster <- this is just my 2 cents (i might sound a bit harsh though)

so.. yeah.
