Recently i discover that nuffnang ads on my blog make the page load super slow.
And Nuffnang's server slow loading isnt a new issue. But till now i havent see any improvement.
I want to ask you guys do you all feel the same?
If ya, then we should write together to Nuffnang and call them to do something!

Lets run this post for two weeks and see how is the reply!
Thanks for taking your time replying

ABSOLUTELY SLOW

I agree TOTALLY that it halts the loading of my website !

I wanted to complain to nuffnang, but seems like you already got the job done.

They need to have another dedicated server just to fetch the script to our visitors!

if use ad block plus then you wont have any income loh... sweat.gif sweat.gif
and i havent tell this to nuffnang yet.
So what i hope to do is we discuss more here, then i will forward all the comment to nuffnang via support ticket and see what they reply.
Or else, we start a petition. xD Thats the worst we can do.
Nuffnang hosted at exabytes rite?
Their service sucks!
totally sucks!

Hope nuffnang will move to their own individual server since they are growing and earning so much...

I agree that their ads are slow.

In the end my page "hang" on the mid way and my visitors have to wait for some TIME only can see the whole page.

I remove it already.

Should we submit a memorandum asking Nuffnang to do something about this?

To begin with, host the innit, website and account in a separate dedicated server

Use a dedicated server just to deliver ads content, and they should spend more to upgrade the PC, and perhaps move to a better datacenter.

Actually your left sidebar loads faster is because of your bryanlyt.png that takes 500 kb.

A 125 x 125 image should not be that big. It's bandwidth hogging and not user friendly at all.
Try to use gif image or jpeg instead. Then try again.

I removed all nuffnang ads from my site because of the slow loading.

So, I contacted them:

HeHeHunter, will be removing all Nuffnang ads from my site, http://hehehunter.com effective from 14th February 2009.

This is due to the extreme slow loading of ads especially during night time and it had been causing degradation of traffic to my site. However, I would be happy to put back all nuffnang ads when the problem is fixed.

Thank you.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Their reply:

Hi there,
We will process it as soon as possible.
Have a nice day!!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

They actually don't give a damn about slow loading or not...

yes, it does slow down the blog.
don't really like flashy ads but for the sake of $$ just bear with it. besides, those who've faster internet should have the page load at normal speed (referring to those higher than 1mbps.

Which is why I am spending days to make my website load faster by making a dynamic site 'static'

1) Cache all the URL link which are generated
2) Cache all the content pages
3) Optimize SQL tables
4) Index database
5) Cache all modules on Joomla CMS

It loads faster now but still stops when the NN ads are being loaded sweat.gif

they should solve this problem 1st.
this is because this effected all users and advertisers will miss their target due to this.
they should have save their money to buy a dedicated server and not dependent on any hosting company anymore.

You don't have to turn on or doing anything to get CPM ads..when there is an advertiser would like to buy your space..CPM ads will be running automatically..don't worry about it..just keep on blogging and get more traffics..NN and advertisers will see you shortly! thumbup.gif

Btw, I don't get any CPM ads for few weeks d..all advertisers no money to advertise d? sweat.gif

I had already opt out all nuffnang ads on my http://hehehunter.com

I would rather earn less than losing traffic.

I would rather let visitors have a better web experience than letting them suffer just because I want to earn more.
