I don't know about the negative effect on the birds but I do know about the negative effect on human. Around my area, the residents are up in arm against the telecomunication company trying to install the transmitter up in the area. The owner of the building has recieved so many nasty  calls that will cause you sleepy nights.  I won't want to offend the residents around my BH area and if the birds keep coming, you really don't want the extra publicity from the transmitter which may cause cancer from the radiation.....

DL informed that the above news making is actually initiated by a group of Sarawak BH owners led by Mr J. They contributed 30 to 40 k to a ‘company’ to arrange for the above news to break through the news blockage to the public.

Previously, end of last year, they did the same thing plus quietly engaged some ‘PROFESSIONALS’ to do the ‘lobbying’ with and to ‘educate’ the VVIPs and the respective heads of departments in West M’sia for a national guidelines favouring the whole BH industry in Malaysia. In total, they spent a few hundred K. The latest Perancang proposal with many initial stringent and un-reasonable proposals and red tapes dropped off but still not that satisfactory yet is actually the result of the silent hard works and financial contributions of these owners of Sarawak. NOT AS CLAIMED BY CERTAIN ASSOCIATIONS IN PENINSULAR RECENTLY THAT THEY DID IT ALL. They only chipped in and to harvest the fruit when it is about to ripe.
