Interesting review.
VEry sensible of Nokia to say that MP races are not worth getting into, and I tend to agree. However due to consumer mindset that more MP=better, rather than explaining to people that MP doesn't matter, they'd just have to join in.

But it seems that the pics are a tad bit noisy according to the review. But it's not the final version though, some algorithms would still be under works at Nokia as we speak.

i do agree on the quality of the pics. despite having variable aperture which is suppose to make the pics looks better (base on light cond) but it still cannot rival Innov8 much even though Innov8 its an old model already.

perhaps new FW update will make it better

sure better... this n86 has variable apertures...just like DSLR.. haha brows.gif

GSMArena already publish their full review abt n86. base on the review, even though this n86 have variable aperture and wide angle, the pics quality cannot compete with Innov8. might be due to software/firmware or worst scenario, the sensor itself
nway, n86 look gorgeous in their review. smile.gif

The obvious reason is because of battery life. Without the use of xenon flash, N86 can last longer compared to N82.
*
the other reason:

LED can be use during video recording while Xenon can't

anyway, i dont understand why nokia cant place xenon and led together. samsung and SE can do it. even pixon12 hv both and utilize good sensor inside that slim n lighter body (compare to n86)
