That's an exaggeration , for the moment symbian phones are relatively "safe" (compared to Windows) in terms of virus, trojans and the like, so if it makes you feel better, go ahead and install an anti-virus program, does not hurt at all. On the other hand, it may not really be needed if you don't go around opening your phone to outside connections all the time. It's really up to you.
