Yeah, outdoors under the sun is actually quite decent. Video under the same light condition is excellent for a phone IMO.

Yeah, the edges of the pics looks darker with the cover on.

No wonder cam phones that have retractable cam covers but exposed lens performs much better.

I got up to 4 days.
Now I'm trying again, it's my third day and still at 5 bars.

Nope. Mine is just a click shy from highest.
I put my phone in offline mode whenever I go to bed or listening to music.
I use the shortcuts to minimize screen lighting time.

I always charge with the phone off and only turn off the charger after the phone has fully booted(finished scanning and stuff).

Offline mode before going to bed and if I decide to listen to music for an hour or more.

I try to minimize bluetooth(i use it mainly to transfer files to friends, not to PC or headset). I always try and send everything they want in one session so I don't have to turn it on/off/on/off. However I haven't used bluetooth for the last 3 days.

Well it says leaving it on will allow us to keep an eye of the charge, but having it off does the same no? Whether it's beneficial in terms of batt life, it says it won't lengthen it, but nothing says it'll shorten it so I'll stick. Been doing it for a long time even with my old phone and there seems to be no harm done.

Not turning the phone off saves batt when you are not charging it. Having it booting up without anything replacing the batt charge it uses during that operation will shorten batt life.

You're angle too far off. Plus the lighting I think affects the pic quality(making it better in both cases. I did mine in a relatively lower lighting. I suspect the cover kinda filters light.

I know, it was posted by me.
I think in brighter light the cover won't affect it as much. I tried it again today in another room which has more light in it and can't seem to differentiate the 2. Still I'm stickin' with the "better colour with cover off" theory.

Press the 3 bars(settings). In scene mode select Manual and select Change. Set your settings in there, it'll save it automatically. Everytime you start up your cam you'll only need to select Manual mode.

The class speeds indicates that that the card can do a MINIMUM of X Mb/s. e.g. a Class 4 can easily do 4 Mb/s and can just as easily surpass that speed. The only advantage of having a high speed card I think is using it to transfer with a card reader. The phone can only do so much.
