Uh, is this house rules? As in, this applies for all "win senzr's car" tournament participants?

Extra queries as well :

1. Pressing start/home button = auto forfeit, right...?
2. Console characters allowed? How about Seth?
3. IF we are allowed to switch characters, will it be blind picking, or is counter picking allowed?

Regarding this, one of the tournaments rules that I heard of was that if the offending party presses the home/start button, it is at the discretion of the other party whether to forfeit the match; this is because a single pause can be very disruptive in gameplay, especially when you're on pressure streak, but may really be accidental.

Perhaps it may be better to implement it as such, so you can prevent abuse...? Forfeiture on 2nd offense within a single match seems too lenient for a tournament, as I can just get away with a 'warning' on first offense...

I'll try to get someone to tag along with a HD vidcam; hopefully it'll be available on that day.

That's right guys, go easy and don't pound on the scrub holding the sony hd cam, give him at least a 3-round match so he won't feel discouraged and intimidated from future events!

Anyway, I'll try to catch as much footage as I can and upload it to youtube post-event. See if I can get a tripod as well, so my hands won't ache when I'm actually playing (my excuse when I lose, "I was holding a vidcam for 4 hours").

By the way, any chance of having a power outlet in case i need to charge batteries?

Hmm, i'm not sure about that as well... I have to go back to check if my PS3 is running on power outlets...

I have one of those adapters, it works with the classic Dualshock controllers; not sure if it works for the stick though.

Also, noticed a slight lag for the controller. Could be just me, or the antique controller *shrug*

Just some random thoughts...

Perhaps I was thinking too hard about this tournament, about what characters to choose, who may have better match-ups, who's choosing what in the tournament, etc...

But you know what? I figured that even though it's a tournament, we're in it to have some head-to-head competition, and most importantly, have good fun! Yes, we need to show some competitive spirit, but at the same time, what good comes out of it if we're like all raging, mean-spirited, and kiasu/poor sportsmanship? (I'm certain nothing like that will happen, but yeah, i'm sure we've all seen some sort of that in old-school arcades)

Having said that, I'm gonna pick a character that I've been maining since SF4 launched, despite the character's estimated tier, and not pick the characters that I think I stand a chance of winning (zero chance anyway, considering I haven't been playing for months).

In the very worst case, at least there's some variety to the participated characters, no?
