i just registered me and my bro last night, let's hope that we can actually make it through the first round XD

play the challenges, experiment some combos, then try VS CPU.
when you think you can do it, experiment with living humans.

if you think your combo is good, train repeatedly in training mode until you can do it whenever you need it to come out.

repeat the process.

well that's what i did.
playing against humans really do increase the exposure, i had my share of pain when OverDOS grappled me 10000 times in a day. kekeke

i also have one thing to complain.
Alan turns his back on me when i call out RYU!

if you win 5 rounds and call youself a noob, what do you call those who lost to you?

but then, it was a nice match, it's very rare that Aiman gets angry at his opponent.
usually it's the other way around lol.
watch those against the ropes when facing his Balrog, no escape.

we have PS3 SF4, not going to contribute coins in the arcades XD

he's gonna face the most brutal ones tmrw first hand first match lol.
my group was relatively easy, i got lucky XD.
i cant even beat Junhuei online and i won 4-5 matchs on the first day, woot!
but my brother's group was really brutal, imagine he who beats me 4 out of 5 sets constantly, had to fight for survival and ngam ngam made it to the second stage, scary XD

lol too bad you missed the fun, it was hectic!
comebacks in a fighting game are really epic!

to be honest with you guys, this is the a tournament that both winners and losers goes home with a happy heart, WHICH, is ultra (i'll start using this word a lot from now on) rare.

i've only been to CS tournaments before this but i can tell you that this is the best of any competitions that I've ever been to.

Great job Alan.

one thing about the tourney that i'd like to suggest is maybe they should make the front row spectators sit or something, most of us had a really hard time trying to watch the game from outside the circle, although it was really only a minor part among all the other good things.

I dare say that all of us would rush to the next SF4 tourney organised by the same people.

nah, not you. ryu & ken cross ups. the rest not so much of a problem, yet.

that's why i said "yet".

havent faced other effective cross ups yet.
coz most of the fighters i faced are ryu, ken, ryu ken, ryu ken, zangief, zangief (repeat the list and you'll get the whole picture.


and being a new player means i am more open to explore with new characters (hence Gouken XD)

and this is the video of my brother in the fight that got him eliminated XD
fell to 3 ultra counters due to his inexperience in the game, pressed too much.
he believed that by attacking it makes the game wonderfully exciting, which it did.
i guess he needs time to learn to change the tempo of his game from time to time.
