go for 16gb if u plan to install a lot games/applications and mp3s .
mine 16gb left 6gb+ only... so 8gb definitely not enough for me... and i can have my favourite colour -> white! |

iphone is the best phone for now... you can put a lot applications and games inside, from chatting program , games , news, weather , sport , dictionary , and lot of other things... me currently use the 3g 8gb , but now i'm planning to get the 16gb... you'll find that 8gb not suit anymore when you start to love your iphone... cause you'll fill it with a lot lot lot of program...

Ask urself what U gonna be using it for? If 8GB is going to be sufficient for ur needs then save the $ otherwise get a 16GB.
PS: No one ever complains about having too much space ![]() |

@SurFerZ,
You're right.. it's probably the best 'Entertainment' Gadget but as for phone functions esp for the business people on the go, it might not be the best choice |

I think what set iphone apart is its uniqueness, no phone in the current market has ever came close to iphone, and iphone is sorta like a revolution in the mobile phone industry, look, after iphone came out, competitors are trying to bring down the iphone by marketing phones with touch screen ( that relies fully on touch not stylus ) even nokia who isn't really in touch screens has already marketed their own distinctive brand of s60 touch. Say whatever u want, but its the iphone who has really change the mobile industry once and for all.
Sure, functions like bluetooth and gps are severely hindered in the iphone, but that doesn't really impact the really user friendly interface and the smooth mechanism of the iphone. |

Since you have not mentioned any constraints e.g. money or usage pattern then 16GB. More the better and price difference is acceptable.

As I heard someone saying before, the iPhone (even at the current time) is at least 5 years ahead in technological advancement compared to any single mobile phone on the planet (including the long-standing Windows Mobile!). This probably explains the reason why no phone so far has come close to the iPhone. Sure, functions like bluetooth and gps are severely hindered in the iphone, but that doesn't really impact the really user friendly interface and the smooth mechanism of the iphone. To joejoe_n, if I were you, I'd get the 16GB just because it is white in colour and not because it is 16GB! otherwise, 8GB would do just fine as 8GB can provide a lot of space already. |

16GB is better. In case future the 8gb is not enough for u. Cos u will never know what u will download for it. since so many app can install and music/video/picture... U don need change to 16gb when out of memory.

I totally agree with TeK_KeN. I at first thought of buying an iPod Touch 2G 8GB, because i felt that 16GB would be a waste of memory, but after comparing the price and all, the 16GB model appealed more to me, and now, i'm enjoying myself with it. Used about 6GB and this is just my second week of using it lol.

So I'm not really suprised by it being what it is at all, and I might even be getting one. lol.But i do agree that when that phone is out it certainly going to beat Iphone After all, it is a marvelous innovation of the iPhone. QUOTE(luv_yun @ Feb 18 2009, 05:12 PM) you can check LYN garage sales. price different for both sizes are around RM300-400. |
