Since you have not mentioned any constraints e.g. money or usage pattern then 16GB. More the better and price difference is acceptable.

I think what set iphone apart is its uniqueness, no phone in the current market has ever came close to iphone, and iphone is sorta like a revolution in the mobile phone industry, look, after iphone came out, competitors are trying to bring down the iphone by marketing phones with touch screen ( that relies fully on touch not stylus ) even nokia who isn't really in touch screens has already marketed their own distinctive brand of s60 touch. Say whatever u want, but its the iphone who has really change the mobile industry once and for all.

Sure, functions like bluetooth and gps are severely hindered in the iphone, but that doesn't really impact the really user friendly interface and the smooth mechanism of the iphone.

As I heard someone saying before, the iPhone (even at the current time) is at least 5 years ahead in technological advancement compared to any single mobile phone on the planet (including the long-standing Windows Mobile!). This probably explains the reason why no phone so far has come close to the iPhone. biggrin.gif

To joejoe_n, if I were you, I'd get the 16GB just because it is white in colour and not because it is 16GB! laugh.gif
otherwise, 8GB would do just fine as 8GB can provide a lot of space already.

true indeed. and people keep acknowledging this by calling some other phones as iphone killer. it's just proof that iphone is
one hell of a device.

16GB is better. In case future the 8gb is not enough for u. Cos u will never know what u will download for it. since so many app can install and music/video/picture... U don need change to 16gb when out of memory. smile.gif

I totally agree with TeK_KeN. I at first thought of buying an iPod Touch 2G 8GB, because i felt that 16GB would be a waste of memory, but after comparing the price and all, the 16GB model appealed more to me, and now, i'm enjoying myself with it. Used about 6GB and this is just my second week of using it lol.

IMHO, the Palm Pre is hugely based off the iPhone. So I'm not really suprised by it being what it is at all, and I might even be getting one. lol.
After all, it is a marvelous innovation of the iPhone. biggrin.gif

then i believe the iPod Touch 32GB would fit your usage even better! lol
i think the key factor is price, rather than the person's actual usage for the size.
