Since you have not mentioned any constraints e.g. money or usage pattern then 16GB. More the better and price difference is acceptable.

16GB is better. In case future the 8gb is not enough for u. Cos u will never know what u will download for it. since so many app can install and music/video/picture... U don need change to 16gb when out of memory.

Currently I'm using a 8GB iPhone 3G and NOW I regretted not getting a 16GB version!!
At first I thought its sufficient for my needs...but now its nearly full! |

To joejoe_n, if I were you, I'd get the 16GB just because it is white in colour and not because it is 16GB! otherwise, 8GB would do just fine as 8GB can provide a lot of space already. But i do agree that when that phone is out it certainly going to beat Iphone |

I totally agree with TeK_KeN. I at first thought of buying an iPod Touch 2G 8GB, because i felt that 16GB would be a waste of memory, but after comparing the price and all, the 16GB model appealed more to me, and now, i'm enjoying myself with it. Used about 6GB and this is just my second week of using it lol.
