 i bet that price is for AP set. AP used to tag sky-high before original authorized set is out. just like what happened on Nokia 5800 XM. the AP was RM2K++ when it was out, few weeks later Avaxx announced retailed at RM1350 only.  even Taiwan doesnt have the pricing yet. don't convert la. That pricing is for foreign market unless you're going to buy from there. We earn 2k RM here while they earn 2k Euro. So basically it's affordable for them. There should be a benchmark pricing for asia market.
