N900 isnt Symbian OS.its Linux,kinda of disappointed.
now Symbian is free of charge,thats why a lot of Sony ericsson and samsung's model using Symbian.hehe.thats good for me too,coz i have more choice.now i can either choose i8910 or Satio.last time i don't even look at SE phone.without Symbian OS=useless(personal opinion)

It works like your average computer. If you're well versed with linux, this is a great phone for you. Yes there's a X terminal.

What's the main highlight on this phone is on the OS itself. If you can find any source code software in the net, just compile it to maemo, & it should theoretically work on the device.

Intro prices floats around 2.4k-2.6k for n97 if my memory serves me right. 3k? he's been ripped. You can get even better phone with that price.

I dont think this device will mark it's price around 3k. It's suicidal. Remember, this is a smart phone.

2k-2.2k seems like a good mark to start off the phone. Remember, the phone doesn't have an internal memory. Rely sole on external storage. & ram size is considerably small. Nevertheless, the aesthetic design is the main selling point.
