QUOTE(iwan_smtk @ Feb 28 2009, 12:11 AM) As I said, there's an application which lets you do that. There's even an application to protect your phone if you lost your phone or something. I think it's called Guardian. Not too sure about it. |

It seems that the new update for Garmin exits the TSRautostart.exe process after you exit Garmin.

QUOTE(alpha_company @ Feb 28 2009, 03:35 PM) garmin v5.30 right?? Indeed. The TSRautostart exits itself and doesn't run when you on your phones. I'm not sure about other processes though.it exits tsrautostart after exit garmin and will it wont run automatically after we turn our phones on like in ver v5.20 right?? does it have any other process that runs quietly like tsrautostart that we didnt notice... Btw, if it doesn't exit itself, go to Tools -> Settings -> System -> Launch Background Service and select disable. QUOTE(iCHiH @ Feb 28 2009, 04:05 PM) how about the latest Garmin mobile XT performance in N82 compare to the 5.00.20, i am currently using 5.00.20 You don't need to format your MicroSD, just download the update from the Garmin website. Extract it and run the installer on your phone. if i want to upgrade, do i need to format the MicroSd then install the latest? |

The POIs is still on my N82 after upgrading. Just back the file up, just in case.

Class 6 should be much better. But if you don't mind the speed, then just take the cheaper one.

QUOTE(chicaman @ Mar 5 2009, 07:33 AM) No matter how fast ur memory card is, there is always a restriction with the phone's hardware. Plus read and writing speed in phone doesnt need that fast speed unless u always transfer file using card reader then u will see the difference Indeed. If you have lots of stuff to transfers and you want better speed during the transfer process (only if you use a card reader), just buy the class 6 microsd. |
