QUOTE(DeanKueh @ Mar 9 2009, 01:13 PM) on purpose to bring out the redness.QUOTE(Eve2211 @ Mar 9 2009, 02:04 PM) not much contrast adjustment, mostly put on the sunny white balance setting so got more red/yellow in it. |

QUOTE(cute_boboi @ Mar 9 2009, 11:48 PM) Ok, as requested. like ppl mention already, your camera timing is spoilt.Pic #7: Same as #6, but with flash. Red light comes out. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « My conclusion: 1) Red-light does not help in auto-focus, whether in complete brightness or darkness. 2) The stupid red-light only comes out when there is flash Added on March 9, 2009, 11:50 pmAdd: The pot distance is about 40cm distance from lense. The newspaper is about 25cm. QUOTE(Eve2211 @ Mar 10 2009, 09:37 AM) You mentioned about no red light in some pictures, by that you mean no red light at all, or the red light blink for a very short moment while the picture is taken? Because for mine the red light is there every single time a picture is taken, it's just a matter of long or short period. u cannot do sneaky shots, cos ppl will see that red light for a split second before the camera shoots. same with the video, but for video of cos the red light is forever on. |

QUOTE(cute_boboi @ Mar 10 2009, 03:51 PM) But, a separate thing is, the red-light is not for auto-focus or to help auto-focus, whether in dark/bright environment. I can still take sharp pictures with the red-light blocked. the red light is suppose to help focus in low light.try shooting ur hand in front of u in darkness, see if u can get it sharp. most probably only the background will be sharp as thats what it defaults to. |
