The purpose of this thread is to share the simracing enthusiasm amongst all LYN members. (Since no where else this can be done in LYN). MSR had run 7 season and opened 7 threads in this subforum since the end of 2006. We are grateful for the role LYN have played in the growth of our community and we like to share it with the rest of the LYN members.

This is a dedicated thread on MSR in LYN. (If it is approved by the mods.)

we are doing testing now for the upcoming season. the upcoming season is around the corner and will be running F1 mod. come join us!

Yup, camel90 is rite. We r polishing and gearing towards another F1 season. Currently we have 30 racers registered for the season. Unfortunately thats the max our server can take in one race.

Although currently very limited in terms of track venues and available cars and devoid of any AI for offline racing, the sim compensates by having a superlative physics model on the cars it chose to model, including tires that can be flatspotted ! I bought this on the strength of SimHQ's review and I'm not dissappointed.

hey guys, silly question here, but what game is it that you fellas will be using? rfactor?

yup...rfactor. Its almost open sourced. So mod makers come up with various mods for it. This season we are on F1 2006 mod by CTDP (Car Track Development Project) mod team.

Hello Bro, I'm back. After more than 5 months I just see my steering and today my r-factor had activated, thanks to izzt & Bonn.
Hopefully i can joint this season 8.

My problem now is fail to log in MSR and i had register back. Kindly advise me next of action.

Here are some shot from melbourne test race.










We have completed Round 1 in Melbourne last nite with 22 racers on the grid on 100% race distance which took us 1.5 hours non stop. Kudos to all.

I just bought R25 from LYP, and upgrading my old pc for rFactor....

May I know how do I proceed from here? Like how to meet all bros online and race together?

1st - Install rFactor + the CTDP mod. You can get the mod link from the MSR forum
2nd - PM one of the race mods (PCCrazy, Mara, Madnor, etc) for confirmation. They will send you the IP and the password needed
3rd - Download the track
4th - Join
5th - PROFIT!!

R25? izzit saitek's?i search this 'R25' at google turn out, zero or G25
Logitech.

Our server always online daily, the admin always announce when they shut/off the server for maintenance,
even we have Team Speak, (voice over net.) if u want tips/suggestion from the sifu's ontime when u practice on the track,but normaly, when race session we dont enter Team Speak, later out of focus.

haha...sorry, its G25..... alrite... will PM the admins for ip/password

1. In game, my car seems capped with speed 100kmh and cannot go any higher, no matter which track and which car, may I know any setting to release the car speed?

2. Thanks to Mara for givning me the IP, but when I click connect -> the the blue button (add game) -> enter the IP, it doesn't able to find the server, bros can advise me?

owh turn off speed limiter, assign it at ur G25 button.
later i'll give my key combination for G25 setting.
but normally, i use speed limiter button at right button wheel, left button wheel for LCD rotation, the other 4 red button,i assign for pit request,launch control,launch control overide,ignition.

btw, when u enter i.p number, try to find server name MSR round XX, / mod CTDP F1
check my lyn profile to get my number
