Hi all sifu over here,
I have 1 unit 3G iphone which is UK set.
I want to upgrade to firmware 2.2.1
Im not expert on restore & install it.

Can you'll guide me how to start part by part?
I refer many website forum. I cant understand what is unlock & jailbreaking? is that the same?
Actually I already download itune, Quickpwn and latest firmware 2.2.1

I read some forum said that 3G iphone not support 2.2.1? So I need more info from you'll sifu.
Where should I start?

1) restore ---> Quickpwn---->firmware 2.2.1 ?

better to hold & get the fact right. fw 2.2.1 design for iphone so it should support. the problem is, wheter the iphone is unlock unit or locked. for those with unlock unit, can happily update their firmware, no need to afraid anything. for the locked unit, im afraid u will get stuck at the activation screen as it required you to activate with carrier where it belongs to
