hi all.i oc'ed my proc to 4.1ghz which is 456 x 9.0 but now i have a prob here which is at the rams.before oc my rams are running at 333 x 3.2B.but now its running at 912mhz which is 456 x 2.00D.ok my problem here now is with the bolded letters,thts the GMCH strapping.it have the option of A B C D which is 266Mhz/ 333Mhz/ 200Mhz/ 400Mhz respectively.whats it actually?as i wanna increased my ram clock to bck where it was (1066mhz) but this thg is confusing me

as i know, each strap has different default PL value, which will affect the memory read/write etc performance.
sometime high ram speed but with high PL value will result slower memory read and write speed.
strap 266 can get the best PL(lowest) but with high fsb, it may not able to stable/apply.
u might also need higher vdimm and vnb to achieve low PL value.

it depend on how far your ram can go.
strap 333 - 1095mhz > PL6 - PL7
strap 266 - 1140mhz > PL8 - PL9
if your need lower PL in same strap, some tweaks is needed.
