as i know, each strap has different default PL value, which will affect the memory read/write etc performance.
sometime high ram speed but with high PL value will result slower memory read and write speed. strap 266 can get the best PL(lowest) but with high fsb, it may not able to stable/apply. u might also need higher vdimm and vnb to achieve low PL value. |
