Hi,I am preparing to plant the grass on my backyard small garden. There are some existing plants there I Would like to keep, but growing the grass on the majority of areas.I have done the weeding for the wild grass. That area doesn't have the direct sunlight to the ground, is it suitable for Philippines grass? I am thinking if the sunlight is not enough, most likely will consider pearl grass.

After removing existing wild grass, will add the sand on it. Do I need to add the soil again on top of the sand before planting the grass? Thanks.
