Hi All,

recently I bought Japanese grass from sg buloh for my garden, few days after planting it. I noticed some of the grass leaf turned bit yellowish, thinner and curly. Refer photo below the area circled in red, compared to normal jap grass at the left area.

Anyone know what is happening and how do I cure/prevent it?

For Japanese grass, you need to water it more frequently. Compare other grass.  Cannot be dry. I water it morning before work and after work late evening.
I water them 3 times a day :| in the morning, noon time and late evening. A gardener advised to water it 3 times day until the grass fully covers the whole garden area.

Looking at your garden, you did not put sand as the top layer?

Hi all, with recent frequent heavy rain at night time, my jap grass started to have mold, refer pic below. My garden drainage is okay, just during heavy rain it takes more time for water to drain + if rain at night cant avoid the grass being damp.

1. Will the mold kill the grass?
2. Is there any remedy to this? or it will just go off after the rainy season ends?

Thanks pal for the confirmation. I ordered already and will send over today. Will reconfirm again later. The japanese grass is 2.80 for a tray of 1ftx2ft and the philippines grass is 1.10 per tray according to him. However, I choose the japanese one.. Will see how it goes later after got my delivery.
