Looking for advise here in preparing my lawn:

I would like to prepare my new house garden land to grow a type of Japanese grass from my dad's house, since I like that species but cannot find in regular nursery shops. The area is about 1000 sqft and is filled with random cow grass & construction debris, some of my questions:

1. How much soil do I need to dig away?
2. How thick topsoil do I need to fill the area with?
3. How thick river sand do I need to fill on top of the soil?
4. Do I need special machinery to level the lawn after step 3?
5. After this, I migrate some Japanese grass (about 5x2 sqft) and spread out for it to grow.
6. Is the above steps correct to grow and spread new grass on this land?

I would dig away or get rid of all old grass and weeds, level the land, put about 3-4 layers of old newspaper on top of the soil to prevent weeds from growing.
Fill the land on top of the newspaper with 2 inches of red soil (make sure it came from deep underground or seed free), then plant your japanese grass.

Make sure u cover with newspaper and top it with seedless red soil, otherwise u will be in for a hardtime weeding your garden for the next 6 months.

only 2 inches of red soil? no need topsoil+sand like what others recommended here? got big price difference?

Canadian grass is famous worldwide but you should once contact some landscape designer for more better solutions. See the details about this online.

what's the formula to estimate ton size of sand/soil to order? for example, to add 1 inch of sand/soil to 500 sqft of land, how many ton of sand/soil do i need to order?

I was advised this method to plant my own japanese grass (let them grow over 1 year's time):
1. Dig away 6 inches of developer soil
2. Cover with 4 inches of sand (to provide level ground and good water retention capability)
3. Cover with 2 inches of topsoil
4. Plant some japanese grass spread across the land, let them grow over next 1 year
5. Pull out weeds every 2 days

Will above plan work? any improvement needed? anyone can estimate cost of the above work for 500 sqft land?

Recently I see a lot of weed-looking grass growing on my japanese grass, can someone tell me whether those are grown from Japanese grass or from other type of grass that I should remove?

If need to remove those grass, what can I do to remove them?

Will they flower like this all year long? or turn into more greens later after their flower season?

I would like to know whether the way I plant the indoor plant (in picture) is correct? do i need to move the plant and soil out of the black plastic and put it directly inside the pot?

remove the plastic and put in the pot u will need to add some more soil and if it's indoor u need a plate beneath the pot so that ur floor wont get wet when u water it or else u need to water it outside n move it inside when the water is stop dripping
*
but this pot has no hole at the bottom, so water won't drip out... now I put some pebbles at the bottom of the black plastic, so water can drip onto the pot and dry itself inside the pot.

If i do what you said, how do i create the drain system with this pot?
