I just did some experiment on apartment yard (tiles floor), I have be trying cow grass.. Cow grass, Philippines grass and Japanese grass at my hometown. I prefer Japanese grass due less maintenance. No need to cut the grass since they like have limited length of leaves unlike Philippine grass which need to be cut from time to time. As per observation I see that the farmer/seller use clay soil and all grass I tried they love direct sunlight (matahari terik) the most provided with good amount of water supply . So in this experiment I bought clay since I want to try at apartment yard. Since my yard facing sun on the afternoon till sun down this would fit my Japanese grass light requirement.

Details as below :-
- Bought Japanese grass at RM3 per cut (bought 6 cut) at sungai buloh grass seller the more u buy the cheaper price u get
- Bought 1 guni of clay soil RM 10 same seller

I put 2cm on clay thickness before putting the grass cut. I also have auto water timer 2 times( mist for 10 minutes) this picture after 2 weeks with mild/very little of fertilizer(mix with water spray).. since want to know how good this grass grow without fertilizer.

I use 4 cut in this picture balance I gave my mom

plant to put grass all yard area.. but some area have shed (no direct sunlight).. so might need grow LED with timer base.. i found expensive(base on review should be good) grow LED lamp.. will try that later on

yup.. top 1 is Philippines Grass 2nd is Japanese Grass (leaves abit wider compare to Japanese Grass)

how much the the price? Normally Philippines Grass is cheaper compare to Japanese Grass if u dun have plenty of clay soil.. just buy together with grass might get u cheaper price

isn't worm good ?

RM8 per cut is bit expensive.... if buy more grass still they charge u RM 8/cut?
