hey i can;t get it to work..
my phone already detect on pc..
already open pc suite..
and choose pc suite mode in phone..

2. Open Nemesis Service suite (NSS)

5. Now Click on Scan.
6. Select Permanent Memory.
7. Click on Read.

8. It will read the permanent memory file and save it on the disk at following path.
C:\Program Files\NSS\Backup\pm\<IMEI>.pm

9. Open the .pm file using Notepad.
10. Now scroll until field [308], and on the 5th Record (5=) your security code is saved at there.
11. Like 5=31313131310000000000
12. Remove all “3” digit and it will be 31313131310000000000
13. 11111 is your security code.
14. Done!!

NSS wont work if your phone show "security code" cos you can't select in [pc suite] mode

I gave my N82 a lock code, then promptly forgot it. Its been about 6 months since its been off - until this week when I changed carriers and put a new sim card in. I had absolutely no idea of what code I gave it...tried every combination of birthday, post-code, pets name, old phone number, everything to no avail.

Looked on here, but the phone is off, not on...so can't get past the lock code to do all this NSS stuff myself.

Rang Nokia, they said bring it to the store with the original receipt, they will reset the phone and all my data will be lost...and they will charge me around USD 30 bucks.

Instead I went to a little private shop who had no interest in my receipt and unlocked the code without losing a single byte of data.
I have no idea what they did - but don't let anyone tell you it cannot be done. I couldn't turn the thing on, I couldn't connect it to PC...but this guy gave it back to me on, with all data, and actually told me what code I'd used (which of course I remembered immediately).

CAN BE DONE!!!

you mean update firmware or totally flash it? i updated firmware twice same no changes.

i dont remember my security code. how can i get back security code or reset it back to 12345.

bcoz my set is scc ap set. they ask me for rm50 and ask me to show receipt of purchase. which i lost it.nokia care cant guarantee unlock my phone.

just now i send my phone to my friend shop.and he will make it for free.although so.i doubt my fren coz i already try several method. such as, nokia code re-setter. #plus 3 plus # green # onn button. pc suit cant connect. nsu. phoenix dogle.. phoenix, etc2...

of course they can.. as they have the master reset code..[etc..]

of course you need to pay sweat.gif

I suggest you go to Nokia Service Center / Care but

its okay if you can believe your friend...

phone lock security code right?

u change the code with how many digit? 5?

if that so, take some time to press 00001 until 99999~

i faced the same problem like u, and i did the same thing, pressing until my fingers kebas biggrin.gif

and finally i got the code, phew but that was a long time ago, hehe smile.gif
