Hey, im here to ask whether Nokia N82 better or Sony Ericsson W705i?? Both also have wifi and nearly same price...so juz don know which 1 is better?? i juz bought a N82..is it worth?? or i have bought wrong??

Hey chris, there is no doubt that Nokia wins the league!!! As ur information, Nokia is better in manufacturing Smartphone and has better experience than Sony Ericsson does...SE had juz begun to start their series of smartphone ( G - series ) . Hence, they should have encounter more problems than Nokia does. Besides, if u compared them side by side, u will find why N79 is simply better than G900.

1) N79 has 16m display color while G900 only has 256k
2) the processor speed in N79 is faster than the processor speed in g900 which is only 208MHZ compared to N79 369MHz
3) both have 5 MP camera but N79 has got its dual LED flash compared to single LED in G900
4) operating system in N79 is also newer and better than in G900
5) N79 has built in GPS and also support A-GPS

However, there r cons too in N79 ,

1) Price is much expensive than G900
2) not touch screen
3) internal RAM of N79 ( 96mb ) is less than G900 which is at 128mb
4) internal memory is only 50mb compared to G900 's 160mb

So, in a nutshell, i will have my vote towards Nokia N-Series phone , N79 . Even though im not an N79 user but an N82 owner...

Well Ckh93, it depends actually...whether u like slider phone or juz simple candybar design phone...for me, im much prefer candybar phone as it is to me more simple and more to what a phone should be look like! haha..of course this is only my opinion and u have the rights to choose ur own favourite phone..well, let's get through to the comparison shall we??

1) The first diff that seperate the 2 phones above is their family...W595 is from Walkman series which is mainly for music dedicated person while C510 is in the Cybershot series which is mainly for photographer or some1 who likes to capture every moment in their live...well, who r u??

2) Let's compare them more specific, C510 has 100mb of internal memory while w595 only has 40mb

3) C510 has an accelerometer that w595 don't.

4) C510 has a single LED flash while w 595 don't

5) C510 is able to record video and and video telephony while these features don't support in w595

6) C510 has more coverage than W595

im not sure about w705...i think got gua cuz it has google maps pre-installed in it...ya, the salesman also tell me that N82 gps signal is better and so is the wlan connection...

Hey simon7788, they r really similar however, there are few differences between them.

1) both are from diff series
2) W705 is newer so it is more expensive
3) W705 is speacially designed for music purpose
4) G705 is designed for web browsing and it is more similar to Nokia's N series
5) G705 has an integrated GPS but W705 does'nt
6) if u r a music lover, W705 deffinetely do the job for u

Well, i guess that is probably the differences between them...if u r tyring to buy either 1 of these phone with lots of budgets, i will suggest that u get the W705 as it is newer and nicer ( for me ) . G705 is lagger as u know...

NO, i dont agree that u said N95 is the best!! What for u r going to pay for that phone when u have lots of other choices?? like N79, N82, N85 ...

I'm using the V30 firmware of N82 and i have to say that the speaker is quite LOUD!!! It is very loud even it it set 2 level below the highest point!!
And im going to correct u that N95 is not the best among the list...It is definetely lousier and worser than N82 without a doubt...only N95 8GB has the chance to compete with N82...Dont u agree about that?? N95 is kinda lag with its 64 mb ram...u know?? really really lag ah!!!

Both phone are similar....except N85 larger screen, OLED screen, 2 ways slider....but it is also few hundred more expensive...so if u got the cash, go for the N85...i wish i had 1 too but i have insufficient budget, so i juz get the n82...
