samsung jet is more 'in' (its released later than arena)

screen wise, samsung jet provides higher resolution + AMOLED screen (wat else of screen can u find better than this?)

not to mention its TRUE CUBE UI is MUCH better than LG Arena ones..u got 6 sides on jet, 4 sides on arena

to top it off, also Jet's strongest sales point - no more lagging! 800MHz...practically one of da fastest...

any1 here can help me choose between OMNIA II and Jet?

Haha, i can't really argue as to which phone is more "in" since we're comparing an LG to a Samsung... since when were they ever the "in" phones? both companies keep churning out new phone models every month they hardly have any defining "in" phone. I'd say the "in" phone of these few years is the *yawn* iPhone.

And, actually... for a 800 MHz phone, the samsung Jet still LAGS (This i experienced myself when testing it). This is due to the rushed TouchWiz 2.0 OS they stuffed into the phone. LG Arena is quite polished and not quite as many bugs as u might find compared to Jet.

The 6 or 4 sided cube in each respective phone is a friggin waste of time. Novel for the first month... but you'd end up never using it ultimately. Shouldnt even be used as a comparison to which is better lol... *more sides* ahahahahha

The only thing u can compare is the nice AMOLED screen. It really is very nice to look at, and for a phone less than RM2k, seems pretty awesome.

But you should check out the videos for the LG BL40 .. the new 4" touchscreen LG supposedly coming soon.. daymn.. the interface looks spectacular.

nokia 5800xm vs nokia 5730xm

these 3 phone are almost in the same range of price, c903, c905 and n85, personally i think n85 is not bad ... but what's you guy's idea?

for me N85 is better..
because i like symbian phone..
symbian phone is a smartphone..

that SE C903 and C905 isnt smartphone..
although C905 is a cybershot phone....dont shock that the quality of the image produce by this phone isnt so good...

while as i said.. symbian phone is a smartphone...
with smartphone.. you can install various software/games/etc... and it also including java..

while with just C903 and C905.. you only can install java software/games/etc..
and one word to describe this.. LIMITED ..

for me.. i'm not having fun with the phone which isnt Symbian / Windows Mobile ...
because i cant do other thing except just use the preinstalled software/games .. and bad java software/games...

with smartphone[Symbian/Windows Mobile]... there are no limitivity

for the performance.. N85 is better than C905..[idk with C903 bcoz i didnt try it yet]

Both have the same specs with the exception of the lense for N79 camera and it has dual LED whereas HTC doesn't have that.

I have been using Dopod 838 Pro for close to 3 years. I find it very useful and good.

Software that I use:
1) Exchange server (Email, Contacts, Calendar)
2) Cash Organizer (Finance)
3) eReader Pro (Harry Potter books, LOTR books, ebooks in general)
4) eWallet (All my passwords)
5) Divis PDAnet (CCTV viewing)
6) Music/Video viewing...

So basically thats what I use my phone for. Would like a decent camera also.

Any other suggestions?

i just discard my O2 touch screen due to the touch screen complexity in phone. I was wondering if Nokia 5800 music express face the same dilemma i had.

Problem with touch screen phone:

1) difficult to unlock keypad lock while driving
2) not able to write short sms using touch screen while driving
3) hand writting recognition not so sensitive to stylus . keep deleting the mistake in typo.
4) dialing on the phone while driving is not easy
5) Screen can't see under sunlight, sometimes we can't find the numbers in phone book to relay to the caller.

A lot of frustration using this kind of phone.

Now im loooking for phone . than i Will get Ipod Touch latest generation as alternative to multimedia and entertainment...heard that it came with Camera this time.

ok.. a-gps is assisted gps.. means assistant for gps.. not all phones with built in gps has this function
there are certain phones only..
assisted gps will connect to sattelite via connection - GPRS/EDGE/3G .. to make GPS process[locking] faster
but for sure.. enable the a-gps will make your phone connect to connection.. so you will be charged every time it connect ..
for example my phone, N85
it has built in GPS, with A-GPS...
when using only built in GPS the duration to lock to satellites is about 1 minutes[depend on several factors]
but when i enable the A-GPS.. the locking time is below 15 seconds only[depends on several factors]
so A-GPS will make the process faster because it connect to satellites via connection[GPRS/EDGE/3G/HSDPA]
while when using only built in GPS the process will be slower.. because its only use GPS receiver in the phone only....

of course connect to connection[GPRS,EDGE,3G] charges will applied..-few cents only[depends on several factors]
i'm always using only GPS and disabled the A-GPS... because N85's GPS performance is good.. and i think dont need to use A-GPS..

a PDA phone with PDA function.. hmm.. i recommend you to go HTC
