Imo not so la.. n79 got better hardware, which while it lacks in software, u can always install apps on it..
Still, u can go wrong with both phones. Both solid models, one is in multimedia, another in biz |

QUOTE(christcwl9 @ May 14 2009, 05:27 PM) GPS on both are good but 5800XM offers bigger screen for navigation...However, the 2.4 inch screen of N82 isnt Small either...it is quite ok for me...N82 has dual processor (1 for entertaintment and 1 for calling purpose), compared to 5800xm single processor( for entertaintment and calling purpose)...both have 128mb ram...actually its all up to u la but i will recommend u to buy N82 lor...hehe...cuz n82 camera sure better than 5800xm and music function also very good!!! QUOTE(shaun3230 @ May 14 2009, 10:17 PM) For heavy cam user- N82 For music user- 5800 Performance/ N82 for sure. 332Mhz+ 3D accelerator @ 240x320 vs 5800`s 369Mhz @640x360 Still, the 5800 looks and feels special. n82 is the best bang per buck, but looks and feels common thanks for your info...it was really helpful...i post comment later when I buy the phone to tell which phone I choose |

QUOTE(lonelyshadoe @ May 17 2009, 08:56 PM) dlna is >> Digital Living Network AllianceQUOTE DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) is a standard used by manufacturers of consumer electronics to allow entertainment devices within the home to share their content with each other across a home network without a complicated configuration process. more info just go to >> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Living_Network_Alliancewhile the upnp >>> Universal Plug and Play QUOTE Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) is a set of networking protocols promulgated by the UPnP Forum. The goals of UPnP are to allow devices to connect seamlessly and to simplify the implementation of networks in the home (data sharing, communications, and entertainment) and in corporate environments for simplified installation of computer components. UPnP achieves this by defining and publishing UPnP device control protocols built upon open, Internet-based communication standards. The term UPnP is derived from plug-and-play, a technology for dynamically attaching devices directly to a computer, although UPnP is not directly related to the earlier plug-and-play technology. UPnP devices are "plug-and-play" in that when connected to a network they automatically announce their network address and supported device and services types, enabling clients that recognize those types to immediately begin using the device. more info just go to > http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_Plug_and_Play i'm just quoting it.. you need to read all of it to make u understand anyway.. there are two different thing |
