but you must know the right place and how to bargain
its in Jakarta, and if im not mistaken the place is called "mangga dua"
if they know that you are foreigner, not sure can get good deal or not

SAL16105 cost around RM1600 if im not mistaken
if you are looking for a nice walk around lens, for portrait or landscape, this lens is recomended
go google some reviews on it, and you will know better
i believe you can get good price at sungai wang area, but must know how to bargain as well
another thing, dont get cheated for filter prices
camera shop loves to cheat buyer when buying lens together with filter

tammy 1750 f/2.8 is also around the same price
but, if you are getting 1 lens for now, i will suggest SAL16105

why not try 24105? price is slightly cheaper right?
i have read some good reviews on minolta24105, sony replicate exactly the same, except the grip part
but dont know in terms of IQ, which is better

but then, no reply..
so i decided to try it myself
but i cant compare because i dont have SAL16105 as the comparison

but the seller told me something like SAL16105 IQ is slower than SAL24105
dont know what he means though
